Thank you to the Brockton Montilio’s for coming to my rescue with the absolutely most delicious strawberry shortcake on this planet. On Christmas morning, somewhere around 4am, i remembered I forgot to order a cake for my husband’s 80th Birthday party being celebrated on Sunday (28th) afternoon at a restaurant in Wareham. Knowing I would forget, with all the Christmas stuff going on, I sent them an email and crossed my fingers. Sure enough, the day after Christmas I received a reply that they would gladly have a cake ready for pick up on Sunday. Whew!
I had my brother in law pick it up without even looking at it. Well no worries! It was beautiful and as delicious as it has always been. My husband’s favorite cake was enjoyed by 17 of 20 guests plus the kitchen help and enough for 3 lucky people who took the last 3 pieces home. I cannot say thank you enough. Keep up the great work you’ve been doing for most of his 80 yrs!!

Montilio’s are the creators of the JFK wedding cake -and still make it today. Not nostalgia: it is the BEST CAKE I have ever had. Must be why I have ordered it more than a half dozen times. The perfect texture balance between cake and frosting that can be experienced. Jackie O knew what was up, when it comes to cake… Kennedy took one bite and said “This is the perfect girl. I made the right decision.”

Our wedding cake was DEVOURED. We did funfetti, chocolate, and vanilla – funfetti was the top choice, then vanilla, and then chocolate, but they were all absolutely delicious.
We ordered more than 1.5x the amount of cake we should have needed just to be safe, and we came home with almost no leftovers. We also ordered an additional gluten free cake that received rave reviews. Cannot recommend enough!

Absolutely delicious!! We did something unconventional for our wedding and ordered a tiered cheesecake. It was incredible. We communicated during the ordering process through email, and they were very helpful. They delivered to the venue ($50 fee), and everything turned out perfectly. I would definitely order from them again for a large event.

I ordered a cake for my Son’s college graduation that took place on May 19th. I ordered a two layer gold sheet cake with buttercream frosting and buttercream filling. The cake was decorated nicely, however it tasted horrible! The cake itself appeared to be made as (cornbread), the frosting had a weird taste, and the inside filling did not taste like buttercream, but more like a whipped cream filling. Needless to say, I myself as well as my Family were very disappointed and angry considering the price that was paid for this cake, ($86.50). In addition, the cake appeared to be a smaller size than first described when it was ordered. I will not order anymore cakes for this price at Montillios!

My wife and I have ordered our cakes from here for years and never had an issue. But this order was different, not only was it done sloppy, the order was not done correctly, when asked to speak with the manager the girl was hesitant. Finally spoke with the “Manager” by the name of Nancy and she was unprofessional, rude and was acting like it was my wife’s fault making remarks like you didn’t want to pay for extra when that was far from the case, she repeatedly stated this is not what I asked for, we said fondant not butter cream, you can clearly see parts of the cake not covered. Then after speaking with the “Manager” for over 25 Minutes she said I can cover the cake with white Fondant thus was 5 minutes before the place closed which clearly she was going to do another sloppy job. My kids could have baked a better cake. We will never go to this place again. Not because of the issue with the cake but because of the lack and professionalism in customer service. A simple acknowledgement and apologize could have fixed the entire issue. The remark of saying we didn’t want to pay felt like a stigma remark for being a Hispanic person. Time to look for a new bakery.

We used Montillio”s On-the-Go pizza for my son’s wedding. It was a HUGE success!! They provided the apps, pizza, salads and desserts at a very reasonable price! (We got an estimate from a competitor and it only covered the pizza for the same price). Absolutely EVERYTHING was delicious; however, the pizza got the most rave reviews. People kept saying it was the best pizza they ever tasted. Montillio’s brings their own pizza oven on a wooden wagon which added a very cool vibe . The staff were friendly and accommodating. They provided us with the leftover pizza all boxed up as well as the desserts. We highly recommend Montillio’s On-the-Go!!

They coordinated the delivery logistics directly with our venue which made the process so easy. I would highly recommend Montilio’s cakes for any event!
