We had lunch there Sunday.We had fried chicken, meatloaf, chicken and dressing, collards,yams , too much to list. It was fine!!!! Hot and delicious as it was put on the tables in bowls to serve yourself.Service was fantastic as well. Mr Montgomery was our server and he did a wonderful job. So friendly and nice. We will be back!! A++ rating from my group.

Honestly. I haven’t made it home with my food and already need to review the service. I drove about 30 minutes in to grab an order. I called before coming to get the price. I called again once I arrive to place my order. While on the call, telling the lady what I wanted, she proceeded to tell me “you’ll get all that”. I thought it was rude but I went on with ordering. Went in grabbed my food, it was ready quick!! No long wait, however, the food didn’t look like it should’ve cost what I paid. Chicken was bland. Cake was not good and very small. I do have more to taste. Not excited about it though. I won’t visit again.

First time at the big house location. Buffet style. Fried chicken, fried pork tenderloin, smothered steak and classic sides. It was all delicious and the owner was very friendly. We’ll definitely be back. Worth driving over from Oxford, in my opinion.

The southern food was excellent!! Fried fish, the best I had in a long time. The fried chicken and collards were perfect!! Love the bread pudding too! Cute places, excellent parking and lovely staff.

This was my first time here and wow! Such friendly staff and lovely building. I loved the communal table aspect and met a sweet lady celebrating her birthday. The food was classic southern soul food. Perfectly crispy fried chicken and yummy sides to go with it.

The service overall was rated as -0, the food was terrible and the waitress was very rude and unprofessional. The price that we paid for the food that we tried was definitely not worth it. My honest opinion of this restaurant is that it needs to either close down or be under new management.

The food was okay! They ran out of almost everything that was supposed to be a buffet. When asked for certain food that they supposed to have, the waitress was rude and replied “we outta everything”. Customer service was terrible and the prices wasn’t even better. You shouldn’t charge full price when you don’t have a complete buffet. Note to self never again!!!

Was Excited to try this place for our very first time. Heard so many wonderful things about this restaurant. Arrived a little after 11:15 place was already packed. When I told the hostess I had a party of 4 and a baby I was told it was going to be a wait. I expecting such asked her if she needed my name as I instructed her we would gladly wait and she refused to take my name or place me in order of wait list. So if you have a great business with too many patrons just continue to let your hostess mistreat your guests as ours did today. You’ll soon not have too many customers that you don’t care to turn away.
