Cool vibe, was busy at breakfast time my food would of been good but pancakes where cool but eggs where very good..my wife’s eggs and bacon, biscuits where good nothing different. Service was ok but had to wait for refills a long time. Definitely will come back to see if we get better service and food could of just been one of those mornings. A little pricey but everything is these days.

Can’t say enough. Been a Fort Worth kid my whole life and finally found my way in. The menu is full of classic, Texas breakfast and lunch standards that are executed hot, fresh and fast. The place immediately has a lived-in feel that makes you feel like you’re a regular who has a great secret about a hidden gem. The service was at all times ahead of our needs. I got coffee the second before my brain told me I needed it every time. Honestly, our order went in and came out looking so good so fast that I didn’t even get a picture of those crispy hash browns before I demolished my plate. A must-go, should-support and come-often kind of place.

This is like a pearl in the middle of the desert or like a Time Machine ! Really nice place well maintained without losing the original stile. To be honest the best sandwich I have ever tasted, was super simple but perfectly balanced ! Attended by the owner

This place has been around for forty years and the coolers that chill the drinks are even older. The best breakfast I ever had, biscuits is made from scratch there’s three strips of bacon and not two. And the gravie was the creamiest I’ve ever had. Two people each received two eggs three strips of bacon or sausage hash brown are grits biscuit gravy that was just a little over$15 I never buy drinks because of the prices unfortunately it is the same here coffee will set you back $2.50 but that is with free refills. Can’t wait to go back to try their open face chicken fried steak sandwich with gravy poured over the sandwich and french fries.

Cute place! We were unaware that breakfast was not being served past a certain time but we did come in at 11. The chicken fried steak lunch was good and came with a lot of food for a good price. The cheeseburger sucked (it was clearly a frozen patty) and was overpriced for not coming with a side. Overall, I’d come back but wouldn’t order the burger.

I am someone who rarely writes negative reviews, as I know how crucial reviews are to small businesses. However, this was some of the WORST service I have ever experienced. We came in for breakfast and stood there for a couple minutes with zero greeting before being told to seat ourselves. We were completely ignored after seating as well. We were sitting for close to 10 minutes when all the staff starts yelling about not serving breakfast. One staff member with short brown hair made a rude comment to us while yelling about breakfast. Candace finally came over to take our order and was extremely rude beyond anything I have ever experienced. Was short about us having “one minute to order breakfast” and we informed her we’d been sitting there for close to 10 minutes, while still being courteous to her, and she snapped and said that no we had not. She took our order and we asked another staff for her name. She came over after and gave what should’ve been an apology and started making excuses in a rude manner, and my partner who has managed and worked in 5 star restaurants for over 20 years told her that her approach was not taken well and she started going off and walking away. We left after that without getting our food. I have NEVER had a sever that rude and hateful for no reason. She should be fired, as having someone with her attitude and approach is completely unacceptable. Her attitude and remarks were completely uncalled for, and we had come in well before 10:30 in enough time to order breakfast. I can’t express how unprofessional and disrespectful our experience was with Candace, and the rest of the restaurant staff. People like this should not be allowed to work in service and deal with customers.

Walked in and were told to seat ourselves. No big deal we sat down. We waited 7-10 minutes before a waitress came by. Without any type of greeting she informed us we had 1 minute to order breakfast. I said we had already been here 10 minutes. She replied in a very rude manner that no we had not. We might not have been here exactly 10 minutes but we were sitting down with plenty time to order before breakfast stopped. Both myself and the person I’m eating with were taken back by the obvious rudeness and would have walked out but have time constraints. The waitresses name is Candice. I have managed restaurants for over 20 years. I am not a demanding customer and understand the things servers go through because I served for many years. I will NEVER eat at this establishment again and suggest others avoid it.

My son took me here – never been before and probably drove by it a thousand times in 30 years I’ve lived here. It is a hole in the wall restaurant except it isn’t! Retro atmosphere, cozy with friendly staff. I had the best cooked omelet I’ve eaten since I was in the service. Great food and reasonably priced.

Great little diner for small groups. Food was traditional American style. Looks like they’ve been doing things the same way for decades. Do not recommend for parties larger than 4 as all tables only accommodate 4 seats. Little cramped but well worth it if you’re a small party.
