Food was fantastic. Recommend the Cajun Chicken Pasta. Also loved the signature cocktail. Will comeback again. Only complaint was TV was really loud.

Before I tell my experience- it EXTREMELY telling how many negative reviews this bar has had with service.
I came to this bar after my own bartending shift downtown to relax and get a late night snack with my fiance. However, I will never come here again and will vocalize my experience to everyone that asks.
Our bartender was young with long black curly hair, immediately she seemed irritated, she examined mine and particularly my finances ID (the only Hispanic man in the bar) like we were entering fort knocks, then the drinks were all mixers and sweeteners. But, as a bartender as well, im never gonna give a service worker a hard time because I get that it can be demanding job that drains you. And we weren’t there to get drunk.
However, we had a friend come in that is a recent immigrant to this country and only had a passport. I understand if it’s corporate policy to not serve someone w out a license but im sure its not corporate policy for your bartenders to get angry and role there eyes, make comments and go up to their co-workers flailing their arms and head in front of the whole bar (she was mocking his English and the way he waved the passport) the Older blonde bartended was smart enough to realize that I could see her and had her move away because clearly the young one had no awareness of her surroundings, volume control or decorum in her place of work. The other male bartenders that asked the friend to leave was respectful nice & most importantly discreet Again I understand, Policy is policy. you can enforce policy while being a decent human. However, noticibly a treating someone different/worse based on their ethnicity or language is disgusting. I was so embarrassed and appalled at the scene she made in the middle of the bar about his English, we chose to leave as well. I will NEVER come back to this bar, her actions went far beyond “policy” into blantant racism. Nothing ever should’ve been made into a scene, especially infront of customers. Also im pretty sure you need to look at her ramps license because as a bartender, I’d be embarrassed to charge the drink she made, one of them tasted like she used a rotted lime

One drink tasted like cool aid and the mule tasted like all rotted lime. Bartender with black long curly hair was racist to my Spanish friend. While serving us horrible drinks, white girls across the bar were clearly over-served. Thank you for a “warm” welcome to cranberry. Will NEVER be back.

The Bamboo Bar is the perfect spot for a casual outing to watch sports. The only reason I took off 2 points is because smoking is permitted in the outside seats, and due to the fact that the whole place is open to the outside, it is a de facto smoking bar. If I am mistaken and smoking isn’t actually permitted, then the staff needs to reinforce the rules.

Terrible bartending service experience. Unwelcoming and disrespectful. Stood at the bar waiting to get drinks and the blonde female and younger dark haired male bartender made no intention of offering me their services. I had just gotten to the bar and these were my first drinks of the night I was trying to order. A customer eventually came up on my left and immediately got served, and then a customer on my right came up and also got served before me when the bartenders knew I had been standing there. After those 2 customers were served the young male bartender got out from behind the bar and sat down in a barstool and started talking to the customer they just served to my right. He did not acknowledge me whatsoever. The female bartender came out behind the bar to go serve a table and I had to ask “Am I able to get a drink or no?” whenever she walked by me. Only then did she say sure and got me my drinks. I have no clue why they didn’t care to serve me but it very disrespectful. This is the first review I have ever given a restaurant/bar, so this clearly was a level of bad service that I have never experienced before elsewhere.
