Excellent restaurant. The person sizes were excellent. The staff were friendly and our food arrived quickly. We ordered the vegetarian fajitas, and they came zizzling and in a great portion size. It was large enough that I filled both my wife and I with one order. Food was well cooked. And something interesting, these are the largest tortillas that I’ve seen for a fajita platter in any restaurant nearby. Definitely good value for the money.

The kids wanted chips and queso for game night. I ordered large queso ans chips. It was handed in a large brown bag. Pretty impressive. That made me feel a little better after paying $16.00, YES, $16.00 for chips and cheese.

Update 12/11/25: We went here to dine-in for dinner and are SO glad we tried this place again! We got the quesabirria and quesabirria tacos – YUM! Portions are huge and food is fresh. Also our server Francisco was fantastic. Will definitely be back to dine-in! Added pictures of this meal as well.
Ordered fajitas for carry-out for the first time today. Flavor was great, however, they didn’t include the tortillas?? Kind of defeats the purpose of fajitas. Just ate it all with a fork. Picture is everything that was in the to-go bag, minus the chips and salsa. Not sure if we will give this place another try after this.

The food was fantastic. Because I went with a group I was able to taste several dishes and every one was delightfully flavorful. I highly recommend trying one of their specials. We dined outside to enjoy the weather but I admit it was close to the road and occasionally the traffic noise was noticeable but not horrible. Unless the weather is exceptional I would recommend dining inside or at the tables closest to the restaurant to get the most out of the atmosphere. This is the kind of place I wish there were extra stars you could award for an overall enjoyment factor lol.

Stop at Montezuma Mexican Restaurant for a late lunch, this was our first visit. The staff was extremely friendly and very out going. Our orders were hot and delicious. I got the chicken taco salad and believe me I could not eat it all. There must have been a pound and a half of chicken in it! My husband was also very pleased with his meal. We never had to ask for anything. The restaurant and restroom were very clean.

Stopped in on a whim passing through Chambersburg. I’ve heard many times on the radio and decided to give them a try. Was a Saturday night dinner, busy but seated almost immediately. Service was friendly, food was good, prices reasonable and portions plenty. No complaints on anything, just wasn’t wowed by anything thus the 4 stars all around. Would definitely give them another try if I’m in the area and update review accordingly if needed. There was an outside patio area as well, parking on all sides of the building.

We had a party of 8 and they had no problem seating us. Brought chips and salsa immediately to the table and asked several times if we needed refills. We went specifically to this location because we wanted adult beverages. I had a frozen Margarita, others had Mojitos. Food was very good and we ordered a variety. It came out in a timely manner and was hot. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We also didn’t feel rushed to leave. Another larger group came in and got seated right away. Sometimes it can be hard to find a place to eat with a larger group.

To start with, we ordered coffee. My lady complained that it wasn’t hot enough, and after a bit said that she wasn’t going to be able to drink it. I gather that it was sitting in a pot over a heater for an excessive period of time. Me, I’m a bit less fussy about my coffee, and perhaps they don’t sell that much? I do know that a fair number of places that we’ve been in recent times have specifically mentioned that they were brewing a fresh pot for us.
Prices were somewhat higher than I expected, but prices are higher pretty much everywhere these days.
There were a great many choices on the menu, and it took me a while to pick something. They were okay with that.
I ordered a beef dish, and that turned out to be a bad idea, because the beef wasn’t as tender as I had hoped. Next time I will choose something else. The rice and beans were good. Her quesadilla was okay, but instead of cutting up the chicken they shredded it, which neither one of us care for. It did taste pretty good, though.

Delicious authentic Mexican food. Beautifully decorated and wonderful staff. We had the pleasure of having Alex as our waiter and he did a fantastic job. He’s definitely an asset to the restaurant.
