It’s an average pizza restaurant. No frills. I had asked where I needed to go to order and an employee mumbled something. I had to ask someone else to tell me. There isn’t one particular area to place orders. In fact there was a counter where the pizza was out and then glass above it. I’m 5’1″ and the top was over my head. Once I ordered ( there were 4 of us) the was on a tray and placed on top of the glass. There were 2 trays I carried back to the table. Only the dining room has servers and it was closed until dinner time.
My veal parmesan sandwich was warm, toasted and tasty.
It was my first visit. I don’t think there will be a second time.
P.S. the parking lot was full, the drivers were driving everywhere.

I have never left a bad review about food in my life but it’s my birthday and I’m broke and all I wanted was a pasta dish for less than $20. It pains me to say this was not the place. I ordered chicken franchise and there was black stuff in my chicken. The cutlets were thick and breading was….gooey along with the pasta. I have never had chicken franchise that tasted like that in my life and I’m Italian. It tasted like nothing and then just chicken. Their pizza is probably really good and their salad was really good and fresh but I’ll never get pasta there again. I feel so bad even leaving this review but I’m so upset rn

Authentic Italian restaurant. I’ve lived in Italy and appreciate real Italians making authentic Italian cuisine and these guys are outstanding. The pizzas are the best I’ve had since my time in Vicenza.

This spot is a 10 out of 10. I just as I thought Philadelphia only had 2 good pizza places I was pleasantly surprised to find a 3rd. Montesini’s does everything right. It’s a rare jewel in Philadelphia. I’m so pleased that I found it.

We’ve heard neighbors rave about Montesini and decided to give it a try. Since we were on the go and wanted something light to fill our stomachs, we opted for slices. We got the last slice of pepperoni and a slice with sausage. Overall, the ratios are nice with just enough sauce, cheese, topping. The dough has the perfect thickness. Sauce is decent not sweet slightly salty, cheese has just enough pull but not greesy. Pepperoni was decent and sausage is a bit on the saltier side. I was hoping for more from the dough. It was cooked well with a nice char on the bottom but it was dry and not very flavorful and lacked that chewy pull that I was expecting. Maybe because the slices have been sitting out for a while. Overall I come back to give them another try because maybe I just got the last slice. Give them a try and let me know what you think.

This turned out to be the weekend of Northeast Philly. After a long day Montesini Pizza was the cheesesteak to me. When did Montesini get the Montesini special cheesesteak. It comes with mushrooms, pepper, fried onions and sauce. The sauce is ladled on top. There were a lot of peppers in a cheesesteak. They gave it a lot of flavor but also gave it a lot of juice. We would have had a roll blowout but I ate the cheese steak from the bottom. This Cheesesteak had a lot of flavor, a nice nicely toasted roll but was a touch small.

I gave one star because zero is not possible. The pizza was HORRIBLE! Very salty, thick cold cheese, not much sauce, very oily and a very thin soggy crust. The wings were cold, tasted old, salty, barely any sauce. They said 40 minutes for delivery it took over an hour and we are 2 minutes away. They offered no specials when I asked. I wasted 44$ not including a tip on a Lg pizza, 10 wings and a two liter of semi cold coke. I do not recommend ordering from here, ever. Thank you! Hope this was helpful

Customer service was really good however the cheese steak hoagie I ordered was not good .. my sandwich tasted like someone either wiped the surface before sitting my sandwich on it or touched a cleaning towel before preparing my food . It tasted like cleaning solution .. the lettuce was wilted and I told them no salt . Meat was salty .. maybe I should’ve just ordered pizza .

Horrible customer service and they treat their customers poorly. Food was even bad. When your don’t care about your business, you’ll taste it in the food. Do business elsewhere.
