Was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the 24 oz burger to split, it was delicious. Reminded me of a smash burger but obviously much thicker. The Brussels sprouts were my favorite! I read it had a sweet spicy glaze and just decided to be optimistic, I was so surprised by the taste. Different than the typical, but so delicious.
My only critique would’ve been the fries; didn’t seem tossed thoroughly in truffle oil perhaps very lightly tossed and some sprinkled on top and a little too over cooked as well.
Besides that, the burger and Brussels sprouts especially will have me returning.

The double burger was very good, although it was a little too greasy for my liking. The buffalo wings were also pretty good.
In regards to the service 10/10. I met the owner and had a cool little chat, his waitress was also very nice.
I will be coming back again, hopefully they can do something about the greasiness

These burgers are amazing, I’ve had the rib-eye steak too and it was SO good as well !!! I always come back. One week, my wife and I came 4 times in one week. They have great live music later in the afternoon, they have a bunch of TV’s to watch any game you want. THIS PLACE IS A VIBE.

Quick seating and decent service, but I don’t see this place lasting without rethinking its pricing. I get that the burgers are made with ribeye, but there needs to be a more affordable option. Bonita isn’t downtown San Diego—and even if it were, nearly $30 for a burger and fries without a drink is excessive.
For comparison: Hayes Burger in Barrio Logan charges around $15 for a double burger and fries. Stone Brewing serves a wagyu burger with bone marrow butter and Gruyère for about $17. Karl Strauss also offers a burger and fries for $17. Rocky’s Crown Pub—widely considered the gold standard for burgers in San Diego—comes in around $16.
As for the burgers here, they’re fine. But they come without any vegetables—just two unusually greasy buns, Thousand Island spread, a meat patty, cheddar cheese, and a spicy serrano relish.
Another minor observation, the dining area is filled with flies.
Some room for improvement, but I’ll try again in the near future. I like the concept and a decent burger with a craft beer selection is definitely needed in Bonita. I love that they serve Guinness and some maltier beers and not just the standard selection of IPA’s.

Not too bad. I’ve had better burgers. So much left to desire for a burger. Not even any vegetables included for a burger. You’d have to pay for extra…. I’m talking lettuces and tomatoes!!! Nope. It’s so ridiculous. Extra fee for a different kind of fries. Yep. Fries should be not charged if it’s included. Truffles should be charged extra. But sweet potatoes? Come on.

I was extremely disappointed with the service today and management’s unwillingness to refund my order. While I know it’s a business and money must be made they lost a loyal customer tonight. Due to staff giving my order to door dash I was told if I wanted my food replaced I needed to pay, again. This inconvenience cost me $70 and an hr of my time.

DISAPPOINTED! Today was my second visit. The first was dine in, and the food/service was great. I send a group of my family there for a dine-in meal on Friday and they loved everything. I went in this evening, and the place was not busy. I ordered to go, two single burger combos without Sauce. Order was read back and I reaffirmed no aioli/sauce when it was brought out, only to get home and discovered sauce. NOT WHAT I ORDERED AND PAID FOR. I called on-line number 3 times and no answer. I left one voice message. Then I called the Fresh number and left my info for a call. This is a customer service failure that needs to be rectified and made right. I have pictures and burgers were tossed in the trashed.

Been here a few times, every time is a delightful experience, ambiance is always upbeat and joyful I guess it’s the atmosphere that’s so pleasant that helps clients relax. Food is great, variety of beers can’t be beat, temperature is perfect ( talking about the beer ) Service is always very good, Zara is very knowledgeable about the menu and will answer all questions with a smile no matter how buys she might be, I highly recommend the place, order the burger and it’s an experience
