Incompetent staff. They charged my card for someone else’s food. I should have only paid $20 and ended up paying mine and someone else’s table. The waitress didn’t apologize or nothing just said she thinks it’s been voided. I ended up Having to contact my bank and it’s still not in my account. Go to La Unica instead

About 3 weeks ago, I placed a take out order. We had the LaMejor and the No. 25. I also ordered a side of rice and beans. The food was good, but about an hour after eating, I had my first of 3 bouts of diarrhea and my husband had several bouts throughout the night.

Not sure why the hating reviews for Monterrey, but being in the business 30+ years, you have to realize a guest review is only half the story & is usually exaggerated by someone who generally leads the life of an entitled toddler. After thousands of reviews on my restaurant, the negative ones are usually 10% or so true & highly exaggerated. So take reviews with a grain of salt.

Service was excellent. The food was ok, but not the best. Avoid the cheese dip, it was grainy and watery, they are obviously trying to save money and water down the cheese dip.
