Beef fajitas are a must try! The seasoning was good and not dry. We came for their lunch special Mon-Fri 11am-3pm, and it was the perfect amount of food. Chips and salsa is served when you sit down. Service was fast and attentive.

Paige, the cashier was helpful, for my takeout order today and she even had some Texas personality to help her at her new position at the newest and latest version of Monterey’s Little Mexico, established in 1955. This was my first return visit here in several years since about 2013. Yes, I still remember their stuffed avocado entrée after all these years!

The food was superb! The Mexicana fish was extremely flavorful and cooked to perfection. The Mexican corn was good and the fajita in the burrito was delicious. We will definitely come back!!!

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday in our way to Tanger outlet. We were pleasantly surprised to see kids eat free on Saturdays as we had our toddler with us. My husband and I both ordered margaritas which were served to the brim of the cups. They gave us extra bowls of chips so we never ran out. I got the chicken torta and tortilla soup. The chicken in both was very good. The vegetables tasted fresh. The manager Virgina spoke with us and our daughter to make sure we had a great meal. Everyone was so friendly. Very family friendly place. If I’m in the area I would definitely return

Waiter was great but everything else sucked. I ordered a stuffed avocado and it comes with fish and shrimp. I am allergic to shrimp so I ordered with no shrimp and extra fish instead. I received no extra fish and No Avocado- yes no avocado! I say something and 15 minutes later they send me just an avocado in a bowl! They gave me the most broken chips I have ever got. Not impressed. I will come back once they get used to being back open.

New management. Came in and got sat right away. The server was a bit awkward but really nice. I understood though, it was late. Had the chicken chimichanga with queso blanco on top. It was absolutely fantastic and cooked well. Food also came out quick and fresh. I’m so glad management is bringing back the old ways. Sorry for the dark picture. I promise it looks good.
