It was a great overall experience. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was busy during dinner service. Food was great and a twist to the normal seaside treat I’ve enjoyed. The Italian trio was delicious. The lasagna being my favorite part. The sauce was very flavorful. The Shrimp ceviche was a large serving and perfect portion for the price.

It was fun place for a Friday night with friends and drinks or to take your family out for a nice dinner. The live music was very perfect the songs were on point. It was very clean and food was good. The service could of been a little faster had to keep asking for a refill bit they were very nice and friendly. All in all I had a great time with my crew from work.

Haven’t been here in a long time but the place got remodeled. I’ve been here twice since then and I have to say that the cook needs to be thanked! My ribeye steaks were cooked to perfection both times. Great atmosphere and the waitress was very attentive to our table.

Hadn’t been here in over a year and everything was still delicious! Shrimp cocktail was nice and COLD and came along w/ all the fixings: cilantro, onion, limes – ask for it on the side if you’re a traditionalist or just sharing w your kids. The seafood soup was delicious, nice and hot and had a good mix of seafood. My wife’s Laredo Plate (grilled chicken, shrimp,veggies, baked potato) was really tasty and the kids fish plate was a great deal! My daughter didn’t care too much for the kids spaghetti, but overall it was a great meal. Great service from our waiter and just a nice quiet atmosphere to have a family dinner during the week. Will definitely be back when in town!

We had not been to LaRoca in a long time and the whole place got remodeled,new foods. It was nice,it had a private area now for bigger parties.The food was good,again,it changed,so I am used too the old menu,the only thing i didn’t notice on this menu were burgers. I ordered cordon blue and it was good. The veggies not so much. Drinks were ok,I didn’t see a bartender so the waiters were doing the drinks,not too bad. Service was good,our guy was nice and as attentive as he could be.

There is nothing special about this place. The seafood is mostly shrimp and tilapia, plus a few other options. Fish was slightly overcooked. Service was decent enough. Beer and drink selection is very limited, like most places in Laredo. The atmosphere could use some sprucing up.

Server was not very engaged …. forgot about us when we needed refills. The host when paying was annoyed that we mentioned we wanted more drinks. Maybe they didn’t want to work on Sundays?

Food was OK, service was atrocious. There were three of us dining at lunch. Sat down, got our drinks and menus, then…..nothing. After about 15 (no exaggeration) I got up and tracked down our waitress. No apologies, she acted like it was normal to show up for lunch and get served closer to dinner time.

I went to have dinner with my daughter and we had a great time. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. Sergio was our waiter and did his job right. He was very friendly and knows how to interact with customers. My hat goes off to the kitchen staff too. Loved the taste in both our dishes.
