I had a great breakfast at Monte Cristos Family Grille. I ordered the combo special, which included two scrambled eggs, two pancakes, two strips of bacon, and home fries. It was a good portion size and was well-prepared. The restaurant is nicely located in the downtown. The atmosphere is pleasant, the food tastes good, and the service was quick. I highly recommend dining at Monte Cristos.

We were on a family vacation in Lake George and decided to stop in and try Monte Cristos because it was right on the main strip and were able to accommodate 7 of us. We sat in the upper terrace to get a nice view of the surroundings. The general atmosphere is nice and the staff is really friendly. The food was pretty good, they had a really bizarre variety that was all over the place, but that was fine for us. More variety with a big family is good. I had the pastrami reuben which was fantastic. A couple of us had pizzas and a couple others had burritos. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and our table looked like the United Nations. We all had a great experience and the view was a bonus! We will definitely go back if they stay in the area!

We got seated right away. The order was taken and brought out in reasonable time. The waiter never checked back in with us until we flagged him down and that after ignoring our 1st 3 attempts. At that time he was friendly and handled the reorder of drinks promptly. The food was very delicious.

the pizza is more flatbread style but given how many pizza restaurants are here i’d recommend elsewhere. the bolognese sauce meat was overcooked and tough, but the meatballs were good.

I went for breakfast we didn’t have to wait long we choose second floor. Breskfast was delicious Odered corn hash over easy eggs homefries toast mimosa. Great service. The only thing I am a coffee lover they didn’t have cappucino. Everything else was excellent.

Cool double deck so you can see the lake. That’s about the only real positive thing I can say. We ordered 4 apps and none were actually good other than the calamari which wasn’t half bad. Seared tuna was ice cold as if it was pulled out of a freezer, and they don’t serve it with wasabi. Bacon scallops had some strange yellow sauce on top, it is not necessary to put this on a bacon wrapped scallop. Muscles fradiavlo was basically muscles with really chunky tomato sauce on top.
Waiter was nice but when we asked about wasabi he seemed quite clueless.
Bottom line is this is a tourist place. Don’t go if you’re foodies like my wife and I.

The overall experience was enjoyable, with good food and attentive service. However, it is worth noting that the additional protein portions for salads were somewhat small, leaving room for improvement in that aspect.

Wait staff was kind and the deck seating was nice. We enjoyed the fish and chips but the stars were lost on the white special pizza. It was touted as a garlic pizza but we couldn’t taste any garlic, just very sweet cheese which was not good at all. Also the orange mocktail was simply orange juice with whipped cream, not bad but certainly not worth the price charged for a fun mixed drink. Overall it was just ok.

The place is nice and spacious. The employees are also very friendly. All of them are successful except the pasta. I didn’t like the pasta. The servings were too big. In general, it is beautiful, stylish. You can come for a steak meal.
