I’ve come here multiple multiple times over the past few year I’ve noticed a steady decline in the service. The staff is argumentative and disrespectful which is extremely sad because it’s a great place to go with amazing food normally The phone etiquette of their servers who write down takeout orders is borderline aggressive and no matter what it is an argument if you feel something is wrong with your order (my homemade chips had absolutely no crisp, but we’re completely raw almost I was not mad was not in a rush and just simply ask them to remake. I was told that is the correct way for them to be made even though I’ve eaten that exact same thing here for years)

My filet mignon was very rare when asked for medium, the second time most of it was still rare, did not get my baked potato with my meal until I asked for it broccoli was hard. Husbands Alfredo had no taste and my granddaughters ribeye half very rare when asking for medium her broccoli was hard, mozzarella sticks were over done. And get this no compensation. Except free dessert that we can’t eat.
Also the manager Josie couldn’t bother to come to the table to see for herself.

Very poor service. 1 hour 40 minutes to get appatizer and pork chop sandwich. Many open tables so it’s not like they were super busy. Manager came over and was very snobby and rude. Zero people skills. Apparently when you order they put order in for appatizer and after you get it they put order in for salad and after you receive the salad they put in order for the sandwich. Doesn’t seem very efficient to me. Won’t go back.

We all ate burgers this trip! They were cooked well, were tasty, and the fries were crispy and well battered. I especially enjoyed my Barn Burner Burger with Andouillie Sausage, Fried Egg, Smoked Gouda, Bacon, and burger!
Josie our waitress was great. We even had a laugh with her about a hilariously fake review a previous customer left for the restaurant.

Best steak and chili in town. Always impressed specially with the bison steak. Our date night go to! The older gentleman we usually get is extremely kind and welcoming and is probably the most knowledgeable waiter I’ve ever had. Thank you for always having a great meal!

We were a party of 6- they sat us quickly. Took our drink order and brought water. Then they just forgot us. About 15-20min later they took our food order then it was about 45 later that food trickled out.

The food here has gotten ridiculously overpriced for the quality. The cooks need to learn how to not overcook the heck out of an $18 cheeseburger. Might as well have eaten a piece of cardboard. The service is the only redeeming quality of this place. But seriously, I just can’t justify spending that kind of money here anymore and neither should you.

We had dinner here. Certainly one of the better places we found to eat at in Helena. I had Classic Italian spaghetti & meatballs, 1/2 order, more than enough for me. Food was excellent, price was reasonable and service was good. Has a full bar, wine list A bit small. The restaurant was clean and the bathroom was very clean. Like everywhere else it has slots. Fun place just on the outskirts of town.
