The bartender was very kind, generous and personable. We had a very affordable meal and a few drinks, played a few games of pool, and met some of the townsfolk on a first name basis. The folks here are fantastic people. I will absolutely come back to Broadus, if only to see these fine people again!

This joint is like my local den of fun, Purples Saloon ( the only Purples Saloon in the USA……look it up). This place has a limited food offering but it’s country boy approved. Miss Karen (aka Red) was the bar tender of the evening.

We came very late in the day, and the owner was wonderful to us. She provided quarters so that my kids could play pool and pick songs on the jukebox. The food was quite reasonably priced and was served quickly.

We came across this bar randomly during our trip. They have your basic bar foods, beer, pizza, fries and chicken strips but it is delicious and comes out quickly. The bartender, and the cook were very nice and friendly as well. Definitely a place to stop and grab a bite!
