I went to this restaurant on an monday evening at 16:30. I made an early reservation because at this place you are not attached to a time limit, as many other restaurants do have. This meant we had plenty of time to try everything. The staff explained the way it worked and we had to order our food online. Per person per round you could choose four dishes. After ten minutes you can order again. The staff was very nice and kind, and they explained everything very well. After we ordered our first dish it took about 5 minutes for the food to arrive. In my opinion very fast. The interior of the restaurant was very unique and beautiful. There were flowers and nice decorations everywhere. After on hour or so the restaurant started becoming more crowded, but the orders were still delivered very quickly. The quality of the food was also very good. Me and my friend ordered a lot of food, mainly sushi and meat. You had the free choice to use the grill and we did that too. It was a nice experience and a good concept. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a casual restaurant to eat Japanese food with friends and/or family.

Delicious food, great atmosphere and interior and food was great! Their meat is really good and especially happy that they offer halal options. Recommended if you want to enjoy an amazing night’s out in Zwolle.

The atmosphere is very cozy. The food on the other hand, especially the meats for the bbq, is not great quality. The sushi is okay, expected for this type of all you can eat place but I would much rather go out to a steakhouse if you want meat that tastes like meat. It is fun to cook your own meat at the table though but not worth it for the price.

This is our 3rd time here That’s why I wrote this review. They have really good ingredients. It’s delicious. For me the sushi is quite average but the BBQ is very good. Their dipping sauces are not impressive, but having visited the restaurant many times, we brought our own favorite dipping sauces from home, which were good. The service is good and fast. The bingsu is authentic. It’s worth it. Recommended. Don’t miss the Korean-style ribeye and the really sour kimchi.

CONSISTENTLY GOOD. We eat here once every month or two and have never had a bad experience. The service is always prompt, the sushi is fresh, and the variety is great. At some of the other AYCE restaurants you can tell the sushi is made in advance – not here! It always tastes fresh, which is why I will always choose Monster when I want sushi. The variety of BBQ items it’s also great! I am not a seafood fan, but the shrimp is delicious. 100% recommend!

I would say this restaurant is like a hot pot: just put everything together. Sushi (what many people love) and Korean BBQ (what is trending nowadays) are all in one. Don’t expect any authenticity from this restaurant: meaning made by Japanese and Korean. Sushi is more rice than fish. Sushi dishes were not special meaning you can find them everywhere. Low quality meats and seafood which were not so fresh. Banchan (side dishes) were not so great. Marinated dishes for BBQ were quite disappointed. If you order lettuce, you will get only 2 leaves ;)))
The good points:
Private sitting and no time limit. You can sit there for the whole evening. Meanwhile other all you can eat restaurants have 2-2.5 hour limitation.
Food came fast. Staff were polite and sufficient. They give many sauces for BBQ but i like sesame sauce the most (which is already available on the table you don’t need to order it)
Ideally for group of friends of family as everyone surely can find something they would like to eat.

The quality of the dishes depends on the kind of food. I loved the duck breast on the grill but the Japanese spring roll I didn’t find it very special.
Fixed amount per person with endless rounds. You can order max 4 dishes per person and you can’t place a new order 10 minutes after you order. The price doesn’t include drinks. Some dishes as dessert have special prices.

Honestly, the main issue was the service. Ajsha was rude and unhelpful from the start, barely acknowledged us and seemed annoyed whenever we asked a question. When something was wrong with our order, she brushed it off instead of trying to fix it. The food might have been okay, but the attitude completely ruined the experience. I wouldn’t go back because of the service alone.
