Monsieur Vuong is one of the best Vietnamese in Mitte. We arrived there without a reservation on a Saturday and we were able to come in straight.

Decent decor; good service. Food is also good. We tried the pho; it has two sizes-small and big. Big size is still small as a pho bowl. The flavor of the pho was enhanced so much if you added their spicy sauce. Pho is 7/10. The fried spring rolls was very crispy-7/10. We also tried the sticky mango rice; only a few threaded mango on top. I didn’t taste any mango flavor at all; 2/10.

We were seated at a table with two other folks who were using what we assumed to be a communal chilli (there was a few across other tables we saw), but we never used it even after they had left because one person had been dipping her utensils and food in and out of the bowl. Not sure if these are meant to communal and reused, but if they are, that’s definitely a hygiene concern.

One of the best places in Mitte for a comforting bowl of phở. The Phở Hà Nội was amazing. The broth was aromatic & light. Portion was just right. I like that they provide a bowl of nước chấm to accompany the soup. For dessert, i had the bánh chuối lá. It was excellent!
Server was speedy & efficient. Place is always busy so bring your patience. Love the decor & bright orange coloured walls.
Monsieur Vuong is definitely among the top Viet eateries i’ve visited in Berlin. Would love to return in the future.

It’s right next to the restaurant Monsieur Vuong in Berlin ….. a long-time classic of Vietnamese cuisine. There’s often a line because it’s very popular with tourists, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Once you’re inside, everything moves quickly. The menu is small, so the dishes come out fast and freshly prepared.

We took soups all were excellent and the idea to bring a hot chili bowl to the table is great as each one can decide how much he wants to add. Shakes are pretty nice as well. Service was great.

Best place for Vietnamese food in Berlin. I have been visiting many times since 2009 my first visit. The pho beef is amazing and the red curry chicken was great. Visited two nights in a row. They also have a good alcohol free beer brlo. Very well priced too. Good service. I will be back again. Visited twice on this wk long visit. Food tastes very fresh and well prepared.

The beef dish was packed full of flavour and sauce. Very generous with the meat portion as well!

We were a group of eight, looking for something light after a long journey, and this place turned out to be an excellent choice. The menu had enough variety for everyone to find something that suited their taste, without feeling overwhelming. One of us was a bit worried about how spicy the dishes might be, but the staff were very accommodating and let us try before deciding, which we really appreciated. The food itself was delicious, balanced, and satisfying without being too heavy. On top of that, the service was attentive and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
