Our first time at Monroe’s and it was absolutely excellent and tasty! My new favorite Mexican food spot! We enjoyed the seafood and carne adovada stuffed chili rellanos. The red and creamy green chili was delicious! Will come back soon! Great and prompt service too!! Also kudos for having a low carb and gluten free menu!

Wait staff gave us a friendly greeting. Our order was taken quickly and food served shortly after ordering. The frito pie was the daily special and was absolutely delicious. The place was not that busy unfortunately our waitress did not come back to check on us until it was time for the check. We needed some tableware and I had to go track down someone to help us.

We placed an order on Door Dash. The enchilada plate was very good. Unless you’re eating in the restaurant or the first Door Dash stop, I would not recommend the nachos. The chips were soggy and the cheese was solidified into one big piece. That’s not the restaurant’s fault, that was my fault for ordering the wrong dish.

I’ve had Monroe’s catering, and wanted to try their dine-in. The food was just as good or better, the service was fast and friendly and I was able to buy their salsa to take home. Can’t wait to bring my out of town family here!

The staff here is exceptional. Some of the best customer service in Albuquerque, by far. They are always so genuinely nice. I come here often to pick up door dash orders as well and I have never had an unpleasant encounter with any of the staff. Great food, better people!!

Great Mexican food and unique service! The chips and salsa were great, and every dish that came out was really fantastic- plenty of food without being TOO much, and none of it was overly greasy. The service is shared between ALL servers, so you can ask anyone for help if you need it, and they’re all (generally) on the same page. If you have the option, go with the blue corn tortillas!
