Went here at a friend’s recommendation. Maybe it was what I order which was the Porky Pig breakfast meal. I took it as a carry out as this place is 50 minutes from my home. The restaurant was nice and clean. It was the middle of the day so I believe that’s why it was such low patrons. The food was dry . It just wasn’t what I expected . Any who, I’ll give them a try if I’m in the neighborhood again. I’ll just order something different. It’s just that this particular meal was so hyped up I was excited to try it. Just to be kinda Iet down.

Stopped here while in town at the suggestion of a local and it did not disappoint. Our Server Tehya was very kind & attentive. The food was spot on and hands down 5 ⭐. He ordered the Veal Entree with mashed potatoes & broccoli and had the Tomato Macaroni soup to start…Yum I ordered the Crazy Burger with fries both of which were delicious. This IS one of the best restaurants in Monroe. An “every day” type of family restaurant that has a very large menu selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A place you can grab a wonderful meal, without breaking the bank, and get something different every day.
Large portions of food, prepared well. Unlike other family style restaurants that cook with an ungodly amount of cooking oil, this place is not a greasy spoon. They also have an attached bar, next door, and offer great mixed drinks, beer or wine for their customers.
Monroe Grill is also a very clean establishment. The owner and staff keep up with their daily cleaning chores and make sure their establishments is always clean. The owner, and staff, are always friendly and, if you frequent this restaurant they will become good friends in no time at all.
If you’re looking to grab some morning breakfast on the weekends be prepared to have to wait for a table. Like most great restaurants, Monroe Bar & Grill is quickly becoming a popular destination.

Stopped in to get a breakfast sandwich to go as I had a 9 hour ride back to NC. I met the owner while I was at the bar waiting and he was a nice man from Albania. We had a nice chat while I waited for my food. When I got in .the car I found this sandwich to be great! Fried egg bacon and cheese on wheat toast was excellent. Thank you sir for the hospitality! Next time I will make more time to eat inside

Four stars is a little bit of a generous review the food was really good but the temperature of it was lacking. The cheese in my omelette was not even melted. For the most part it was okay the service was not that great. If I make it back it won’t be for a while. They had a very vast menu.

Usually like this place but our last visit not so much. Ordered pierogis, $19 for them to be store bought frozen ones. Also ordered cheesecake topped with stawberries to go, only to throw it in the gabage when we got home. The cheesecake slice was a sliver, about 1 inch wide, and the strawberry topping was thawed out frozen strawberries with runny water juice dumped on top for $9.50. Never again!

I ordered mozzarella stick to go and they were gross. They were cold and I feel like they just sat there. She told me 10 min I was here in 9. Also they were not very friendly. She gave me the receipt to sign then just walked away without saying anything to me. I stood there for minutes before another girl said mozzarella sticks and slid them to me. And they say $8 online but charged me $8.99 for them

Hubby had smashburgers special. So big he took 1 home. Fish and chips were excellent. Nice and crispy with piping hot fries. Our 2nd visit here. Our new favorite place for lunch or dinner. Friendly waitstaff and attentive service.

New to the area and first time at this restaurant, and it was great. I had the best waitress I have had in a long time. Her name is Colleen. Your business is only as good as the face that greets you, and Colleen is absolutely fantastic! Very cheerful, awesome smile, very knowledgeable and attentive, and made my husband and I feel very comfortable. She will definitely be our waitress whenever we go there again.
