Staying at a hotel (Courtyard) down the street. I’ve been taking the metro into DC for a trade show. This restaurant is right there when leaving the metro.

We have a lunch date every other Tuesday when our house cleaners come. We hadn’t been here, and saw it had good ratings. It’s a modest establishment, dated but clean. I had a Reuben, and my wife had chicken salad on a sub roll with lettuce and onion. Most patrons seemed happy and familiar, likely coming from the surrounding offices. The owners welcomed and checked on us, a nice touch. My sandwich was larger than expected, and hers was too. She would’ve liked a little salt and tarragon, but didn’t ask for either. No complaints.

First time experience went there based on the reviews. They had no milk or creamer for coffee. Bagel that I ordered was burnt and hard inside out.
Female working counter was really nice tho.

One of the best spots in Herndon for a quick lunch. Their tacos are delicious and their corn tortillas are next-level. They also make sandwiches, but don’t sleep on the Toriz Tacos.

Great sandwiches and very nice owners. They need a website with an online menu and need to be listed with 3rd party delivery apps so that people can see what they offer. Too hard to read the pictured menu boards. (Just a suggestion to improve business and not close like Suzy’s Deli did in Reston) which also was very good but they had no website presence and were tucked behind an office bldg and now permanently closed.

It was after 12 today I ordered a hot coffee to go. The coffee must have been on its burner for hours. It was the worse tasting coffee I had ever had. I took one sip of it and I threw it away gross.
