I was incredibly impressed by this restaurant!
My friends each got a flight of beer and they were all very impressed by the flavors and even got some to bring home!

We did shareable for the table and got the pretzel, brussel sprouts, mushroom tartlet, and the sausage board (so sorry I forgot to take a pic before we ate the first sausage). This was incredibly filling for 4 people. The pretzel was the best one I have ever had and I consider myself quite the connoisseur of pretzels.

I would say the pretzel and sausage board are a must if you visit. Everything else was delicious too!

Fantastic service! Staff was accommodating to my allergy and made sure the kitchen was aware. Great drinks and food and the atmosphere was great! Was a bit loud but we sat on the deck and it was fun! Will do go again!

Omg my lunch was amazing!!!
Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Bacon lardons, goat cheese, balsamic glaze (Gluten Free)

The bacon lardon (like pork belly) with the creamy melt in your mouth goat cheese, with a hint of sweetness with the balsamic glaze was amazing together. A pure heavenly combination…

Stopped by here for the mussels, since it Belgiums national dish. Sadly not that great… I think they steam the mussels ahead of time then add the cream sauce instead of cooking to order and together. Mussels were dry and lacked flavor. The cream sauce itself tasted pretty good. Also the pretzel was a disappointment. It lacked pretzel flavor and a nice pretzel crust. More of a dinner roll shaped like a pretzel

A very nice restaurant with great food and beer. The Belgian style beers are very strong. Most are around 8%ABV, one was 10% !
Best enjoyed with a designated driver or if staying a short walk away at the hotel next door.

If you can only visit one brewery while in Bend, Oregon, it should be Monkless. Why? The best beer, best food, best service, and best environment. Seriously! If you’re not a fan of Belgian styled beers? Then, you don’t understand beer ‍♂️ Haha! But in all seriousness, this style of beer is really complex, but it can really be hit and miss. This brewery nails it! Can it be pricey? Sure, but it’s worth it!

The food and beer are unique for the area and well done. It’s a great spot for Belgian brews. The service was efficient, attentive and friendly. They had a fair amount of covered outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating. We came on a weekend in the spring and I can see it being very busy in the summer and the crowd could potentially be pretty loud with somewhat close quarters. Our favorite item was the ricotta gnocchi, however the pretzel was soft and very tasty as well. We would definitely come back. It is a nice change from the popular pub fair in the area.

We stopped in after exploring the area and decided to order a beer flight and a pretzel. The beer was refreshing, and the pretzel was excellent—perfectly baked and full of flavor. We really enjoyed sampling the different brews in the flight and ended up purchasing a few to take along on our upcoming paddleboard adventures. An added bonus is their patio is pet friendly and overlooks the water.

We were lucky enough to get a seat outside facing the Deschutes River. Watching people float by a we drank an excellent pilsner and ate a wonderful meal. Our server was there when we needed her and had a great attitude. Will try and go back before we leave the Bend area.

Absolutely delicious! Beautiful views, super cool bar, and friendly staff. I would definitely come back! And kudos for having Blake’s Hard Cider, that’s a hard one to find over here. Of course, there are tons of beer options for those who enjoy beer!
