We stopped in for breakfast and had a standard McDonald’s experience. The food was great and the service was efficient and friendly. Everything was clean and well stocked. There was plenty of parking and a great location. We will be back for breakfast tomorrow!

Terrible that this one charges more for the exact same items as the one on main St. Wanted to charge more for the fish filets than Main st. All 3 in the Galesburg area are owned by the same people. Inexcusable for price gouging for the same item. Corporate should know exactly how the Franchisees are charging more in the same city. Are the managers pocketing the extra? Get it together please. McDonald’s wasn’t built for this nonsense. I canceled my order and went back to Main st.

I think this is the first time of it ever been to this McDonald’s as I was just passing through Galesburg and the chicken nuggets were fresh. The Customer Service was great, but the fries were absolutely stone cold.

I stood at the front registers waiting for over 10 minutes. People in the kitchen clearly looking at me and the couple behind me. I asked one employee (I think was a employee, improperly dressed wearing black joggers and ruined tennis shoes, and handling food.) I asked her if she could help and in a rude and condescending tone “yeah well there is a kiosk right there” and walked away. Super dissapointing and I will not come back to this location. This happened on 10/26/2025 at 12:35 pm
2nd update! As of 11/11/25
Still no response from mcdonalds super dissapointing. My family went through their drive through again and they royally messed up the order again. I am super disappointed in this establishment. The funny thing is, is how fake your apologies are. Im paying for the food and you guys still can’t get it right. Maybe consider some new staff. I am making sure my family will never use this location ever again. If I could rate 0 I would for the very dissapointing staff and their work ethic and the ability to royaly mess up every damn time.

I had to wait five minutes and was ignored. I asked for service from the manager, and she started yelling at me. I ask for her name, and she refused, saying she did have to give it. She continued to yell at me, and I continued to ask her to stop yelling at me. I do not feel I should have been treated this poorly. I just wanted my order taken. Was never given service.

I walked to the front counter and waited… and waited…a couple of employees looked up and made eye contact with me and I waited… and waited. Finally a female employee rolled her eyes and hollered at me “have you been helped?” I said no so she shuffled over. I asked her for a peppermint mocha. She walked away then returned after a few seconds and said “we don’t have those anymore”.
Your restaurant is uninviting, some of your employees are intolerant and your food is overpriced and really not that great. Thankfully you had a bathroom. I guess that will be the only reason that I might stop here again. To pee.

Swung through the drive through to grab a quick burger before soccer practice. Location is pretty convenient, not too far from the high school. Drive thru line was long, but this is their business so I figured they could work through it.
I had a very simple order so I was surprised when they had me pull forward, but I did as they asked, and I waited and waited and waited… Eventually I went in to see what was taking so long, and then I waited some more as there was no one at the counter to help me. When I finally got someone to come up and speak with me, they didn’t apologize, they just said they would make it .. so my burger never got made or was given to someone else. So I wait some more and when I finally get it, it’s not correct. It was not a difficult order at all, I just don’t like ketchup or mustard on my burger.
So theres is absolutely no reason it should have taken this long at all, they still never got it right, they never apologized or offered to make it right, or refund me or discount me or give me a coupon for a future visit or anything.

The way they run these mcdonalds here in galesburg is a joke, everytime we go through the drive thru they tell us to pull forward and wait in reserve, been sitting for 20 minutes now as we watched 5 or 6 cars go through no problem, we got honked at because it was so backed up. We only ordered 3 meals, this is ridiculous, get your orders out before taking new ones. There were 4 cars in reserve ahead of us, we had to park off to the side because the slots were all taken. This is not Culver’s and I don’t care about your time being met in drive Thru because yall shouldn’t be backing up vehicles and having them wait forever, we come through drive thru for fast and for fast food. And our food was cold, thank you for the worst mcdonalds experience Ever! Get it together mcdonalds.

I went in around 9pm there was no one in the drive through and only one person ahead of me. I ordered two pies and a frappe. My husband ordered separately and got a quarter pounder. 20 minutes after I ordered my food, I got the attention of a worker who only then bothered to look into my order and informed me that they didn’t have the pies I ordered and it would be 15 minutes from then if I wanted them. I think that’s ridiculous because if they had checked when my order was submitted they could’ve had them made at this point. And the icing on the cake is that when we got home my husband bit into his quarter pounder and it was ice cold and completely raw. So great job to the fully staffed McDonald’s who couldn’t have cared less about the people who keep them employed.
