Monk McGinns is a fun, lively two-story pub in Tribeca that felt like a perfect spot for drinks and casual dining. The interior has a warm, rustic tavern vibe with exposed brick and high ceilings that make it feel both cozy and energetic. The beer and cocktail selection was great — I tried a few craft drafts and they were smooth and flavorful, perfect for a laid-back night out.

The food is solid pub fare with crowd-pleasers like crispy fish and chips, burgers, and wings that paired really well with drinks. Staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun. It gets busier later in the evening, so it’s a great happy hour or weekend night spot with friends.

Overall, if you’re into casual pubs with good drinks, hearty food, and a lively atmosphere, this place is worth checking out.

I stopped in at Monk McGinn’s and tried their house draft IPA — and it did not disappoint. The beer has a smooth, creamy mouthfeel with a balanced bitterness that isn’t overwhelming. Brewed with Mosaic, Falconer’s Flight, and Citra hops, it has a nice hop-forward flavor that’s soft around the edges. Definitely a solid choice if you’re into IPAs.

The pub itself has a warm, lively atmosphere with friendly staff and a good range of draft options. Prices are a little on the higher side compared to other spots in the area, but the quality and vibe make up for it.

Overall, a great place for a pint in Tribeca — especially if you’re looking to enjoy a well-made IPA in a fun setting.

Decent spot with some good food and drinks. I got a burger, which was pretty good, as well as a cocktail which was pretty solid as well. Definitely a popular spot, the place was packed when we were there. Nothing was particularly mindblowing from a quality standpoint, but everything quite good!

Some of the best fish and chips in NYC. This restaurant has the best fish and chips that taste like you’re in Ireland. The service is friendly and nice. It isn’t cramped inside but the food does take a little while to come out.

The best steak sandwich I have ever had! This place feels like an Irish tavern with a homey vibe. Joel was the ideal bartender with a brotherly vibe! Going to order Bill The Butcher as my drink for the rest of my trip! A must-visit for NYC!

It is a nice place to hangout with friends. Amazing foood I must say and drinks as well. Totally worth the money you spend and its not too much as well given the location. We were there on a Knicks game night so not sure if they usually play music or not, would have been better if there was music. But still I would give them a 5 stars for everything.

An impressive list of cocktails, good service, and complimentary selection of bites.

I was there mostly for drinks but decided to order the boneless chicken wings and surprisingly it was probably the best I’ve ever. So tender and juicy and the Buffalo sauce was on point. The onion rings had a perfect crunch with sweet onions embedded. An elevation of common bar food. Good job.

They also had tv outside to watch sports which is a nice addition. Will definitely be back.

Highlights were the friendly staff and the warm (literally and aesthetically) pub environment. Fish and chips were a bit oily for my taste and you’re going to have to eat (ha) Tribeca prices for run of the mill beers. The house Pilsner was good and they also have an IPA.
