Great food, great service, good beer selection, clean, relaxing, and made my children’s day by giving them crayons and paper while we ate.

A while back I had posted a review for this establishment. I won’t go into details let’s just say it wasn’t a good experience.
On 8/25/19 A few of us decided to give it another try. All I can say is wow! Night and day difference from my first experience.
The staff was very attentive and obviously care about what they do.
The food was outstanding and the beer was excellent! If you are a porter fan you have got to try one. You will not be disappointed.
To Monica and the rest of the ownership/staff…keep it up. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning.
Thank you!
Anthony

We stopped here for lunch while out exploring the sites and scenery of Jemez Pueblo and Jemez Springs. The food is hot and fresh. The ribbon fries are the best I have had in area. Very good service of various burgers, sandwiches and New Mexican dishes. The patty melt with green chilies was spectacular. They also have a variety of ales and local brews on tap as well.

Kelly was the sweetest, she was so charismatic and passionate about the restaurant, we thought she was the owner! Wonderful food, attentive service, excellent experience. We ordered a little bit of chicken fried and now me and my girlfriend have a song for everytime we drive to Jemez!

Phenomenal, friendly service, tasty local beers, and a delicious chicken sandwich. The fries are even seasoned well. You can’t go wrong with atmosphere eating in the jemez, and it’s no different here. Lovely spot, comes highly recommended from locals as well

Two different Jemez Springs locals told us to head here and it was great! Our server was super friendly and kind, and I liked his knowledge on the story of Monica’s and Second Alarm. I did sample 3 of the 4 Second Alarm Brewhouse beers available, but ultimately went with a pint of Bosque Brewing Elephants on Parade which was fantastic. The menu indicated the tortilla chips were homemade and that the cheese sauce was available at request, so we decided to split loaded nachos. The cheese sauce automatically came on our nachos, and though I am personally not a fan of nacho cheese sauce, my friend loved it! There was some great heat on the nachos and plenty of delicious guacamole. We split a green chili cheeseburger that came with fries. The burger itself was really delicious and huge, no way I could have finished one solo! The fries were great too, but just needed a little salt. Really loved hitting this local spot and will return if were in Jemez Springs again!

Happened to be driving by around lunch time so I stopped in (I have a weak spot for anything firefighting so that caught my attention…).
From the beginning the staff was super nice and welcoming, there was a nice selection of drinks (and cider!) to choose from to cool off and the food was delicious!
I will definitely be stopping in the next time I pass by!

Was in town with some friends but I got in a day early so I wandered over to Monica’s to grab some dinner. She personally helped me and was super friendly. The burger and fries I got were delish…so good in fact I went back for nachos the next day for lunch. She saw me come back in and made sure to come by and say hi. Good food and really good, friendly service from everyone there.
