We descended on the restaurant at lunch time with 20 people, including mostly high school students. Our orders were taken quickly and while that was happening, our tables were set up. Most of us had our pizzas within minutes after we sat. Even though it was a full house and the staff was swamped, they remained friendly and accommodating. I can’t say enough about this restaurant and the staff. Awesome service, awesome pizza!

This place was filthy. Floors, tables, bathrooms….not cleaned.
The pizza was decent. The wings looked raw with sauce thrown on them. I asked if they could put them back in the oven to get them a little crispy. I was told they microwave their wings. What place microwave bone in wings?! The manager did take the wings off our bill without us asking. Will never go back!

Love my old hometown spot. We love it even better since we can take some frozen pizzas back home since we moved away! The only issue was the frozen pizza seemed a little lower in cheese and we can still only take home 5.

My wife and I took a trip to Centralia, about an hour and a half, to pick up some furniture and decided to eat lunch at Monical’s. My wife ordered a salad with breadsticks. I ordered the baked bow tie pasta. I was expecting a larger portion of the pasta, but it was enough and very good. The place is really looking old and a little rundown. It’s not dirty, but it could have been cleaner. The service was great. We did appreciate that, and the food was good. Just the portion size was a little disappointing. The place was disgustingly filthy most tables had trash all over them. Floors filled with food and trash. There was at least 12 employees there, and some were doing nothing. Some of the soda machine drinks did not work. Some things didn’t look like it was cleaned for weeks. Everywhere we looked it was filthy. We have visited monicals all over the state, and this is by far the worst one ever.

I grew up on Monical’s pizza, but moved out of the area. I got a bit nostalgic, and ordered a large. While the pizza was good, they charged $30 for a single large pizza. I know prices are up, but that’s insane. They are really proud of their product. TLDR, the pizza is good, but not worth the price. There are better options.

This is a must try pizza joint with delicious pizza and amazing homemade salad dressings. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. It works for small groups and even larger events. Definitely worth trying if you spot one on your trips.

I love that this location has the same nostalgic feel that all Monicals had back in the 90s. Maybe the floor isn’t looking it’s best, so what if the wooden spindles that separate the dining room from the ordering area have a buildup of something black on it. We’re not calling it grime though. We’re calling it character the bouncy ball quarter machine makes it easy to overlook all that.
Honestly though, the employees are always friendly. The food gets done fast. It’s fun to be able to watch your food get made. It’s consistently tasty every time.
