I grew up with and am a huge Monical’s fan. We do the night before Thanksgiving every year. I have eaten in Peoria, St Joe and Tilton in last 3 months with no complaints. Last night on N Vermillion we were at the table 2.5 hours waiting on food. One persons pizza took 30 mins longer than the rest. He is 7YO! Our pizza was not good. The crust was bad and the mushrooms were very strong, almost spoiled. It was really the first bad experience I can recall with Monicals in my 56 years. It is just too bad that it happened when the whole family was back. Clearly, this location was understaffed and needs to be evaluated.

The second worse gluten free pizza I’ve had in 10 years. The GF pizza is baked in a tray, not sure if it’s for cross contamination or…anyway, the tray baking technique means the bottom is soggy and will never be cooked through. The edges were crispy and the top was done but the dough was still raw, flimsy, soggy. I took home the rest so I could finish baking it. Do not recommend at all. Other than that, the regular pizza was good and service was good. If you’re going for GF pizza, please don’t waste your time or money.

2 since they are usually good but they must have got new ingredients or staff, this pizza wasn’t enjoyable. Also the prices have gone up. For some reason a large italian special costs 29.99 but mine was 39.99

Haleigh Is the best server in all of vermilion county. We go once in a while and she remembers our drink order, what we want on our pizza and what dipping sauce. She’s smart and funny. We love her! Give her a raise. She’s the best. The pizza is amazing. The salad is so good. Everything is amazing. Keep up the good work.

Got a meatball sub, chips and a tea. Food was good, service was good, and the restaurant was clean. I’m holding out on the 5 stars because the counter ordering and pre-payment system makes it more of a McDonalds experience vs. a restaurant meal.

We frequent this location roughly couple times a month and never usually have any issues. This last visit we had issues with our order and numerous others did that evening could been new kitchen help or something, anyway though it was no fault of our waitress (haleigh) I believe may spelled her name wrong, younger blonde. We have had her before and on that evening she was very quick to fix the issues and kept apologizing she was more than a great waitress the entire time we was there and I hope she gets the credit she deserves, we will continue coming to this location because of her service and how well she handled all the problems!

I was only able to leave a $10 tip on a $140 bill because they are will not accept a $100 bill. I was ready to pay $172 when I went up to pay. I only had $152 in smaller bills. Not acceptable that more and more places will not accept United States currency.
