We ate here on our family ski trip and it was delicious!! The plates and portions are massive for a great price. We got the shrimp enchiladas and they were incredible. Amazing rice and beans too! We are from Texas so we know good Mexican food and this was amazing!

Once service began, the staff was attentive and professional. The manager personally checked on our table multiple times, demonstrating a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.
The food was good and the margaritas deserve special mention—perfectly balanced and refreshing.

This is an excellent place to go if you want food poisoning. (Literally) Bubbling salsa due to fermentation and likely many other health code violations. After a complaint more questionable food was served with no visit from a manager and even though we left shortly after and did not finish the food instead of making it right we were simple given the full bill.
I understand food quality issues but this is negligence. Definitely won’t be visiting again and hope a health code official stops in soon.

One of the few restaurants in Durango that don’t take reservations. Great margaritas, free chips and salsa and authentic Mexican food, including good seafood. Reasonable prices. Lots of locals always there.

The staff was very friendly and food was good. The issues is we didn’t get much attention from our waitress which was ok other than we was ready with our bill and had to go get it… the beans are delicious and the rice is good … I had a burrito and enjoyed all of it.. try the quac cause it is delicious.. my hub had the nachos and they looked so tasty so next time I will be trying those..

We enjoyed a meal at La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant. They had tables open when we arrived at 5 PM. They brought our drinks and chips almost immediately. The salsa was very good. My wife and I ordered the combination dinners, which also come with beans and rice. My wife got a chilupa and an enchilada. I got the burrito, enchilada, and chile rellino. I had the crispy chile rellino, which was a first to me. We both found our meals to be very good. Yes, we will be returning in the near future.

Came back a year later and had an amazing experience. It was super slow, and we were the only ones there, but everything was fantastic. Perla was a great server and took good care of us. Great place to get relatively cheap, good Mexican food and fantastic margaritas. Their tequila selection is massive and their food portions are huge, so definitely worth stopping by if you come to Durango and want Mexican food.
