This was the worst Monicals pizza I have ever had. It was way off. Wasn’t hardly any cheese. Tasted like crust with sauce which tasted bad, and no cheese. Very disappointed. I paid $34.00 along with getting the salad which was fine. never again.

Monicals is a stand out chain of pizzeria in Illinois and Indiana. The pizza is always very good. It is the classic cracker thin crust. I always order the 16″ Delight (sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, onion, and green bell pepper). Delicious as usual!

We like Monicals Pizza in the Cherry Tree Center in Washington, IL. We have had several birthday parties, retirement party, baby shower, other celebrations in their large room in the back.
We like their Family Pleaser Meal, which consists of your choice of pizza,(pan or thin crust), a Garden Fresh Salad (fresh lettuce,tomatoes,shredded carrots, & Colby cheese.) Plus a pitcher of your choice of soft drink, Iced tea, or Sweet tea.
Great deal for a family.
If you don’t feel like pizza, Monicals has great sandwiches. All sandwiches are served on a warm sub roll with chips or apple sauce.
I love their Turkey BLT. It’s sliced turkey with crisp bacon,tomato,light mayo and lettuce.
Their BBQ Chicken sandwich is a grilled chicken with melted Mozzarella cheese on top and BBQ sauce slathered on the top.
Oh, they taste soooo good!
If you are looking for a lot of meat on a sandwich…you can’t go wrong with a Monicals Hot Sicilian which has bacon, pepperoni, sliced ham, melted Mozzarella cheese, lettuce and dijonaise mustard.

Or you can order 1/2 Sandwich plus an
individual garden salad with the dressing of your choice.
Their salad dressings are very good.

Ordered p pizza over the phone for my sons birthday party. I told the man over the phone that we would be there to pick it up. He said that would be fine. It would be ready. We got the pizza home, and to ensure that the pizza stayed warm, we noticed that when we opened the boxes, the pizza was wrapped in foil. We were super impressed. The pizza was great!

Who is giving this place 5 stars? As someone who traveled a lot for work. This place has one of the most tasteless pizza, it is just so bland. Bread sticks are really doughy and they spread store bought garlic butter.
The spaghetti was mush with underwhelming sauce. Meatballs are store bought and also mushy.
I feel little Cesar makes better pizza. At least I know what to expect.
Waitress was very kind. That’s the only thing that’s going for them.

I visit Monicals once during the week for lunch with some of my colleagues from work. The store is well managed and the woman who works lunch taking orders and bringing the food and drinks out to the tables is friendly and has come to know our faces and what we typically order! We always have great service and definitely come back weekly for the atmosphere, speediness and quality!

If there was a way to rate half a star, this would be a 4.5. This place is actually pretty good. Monical’s actually makes fairly good pizza, but the best part of it all was the service, which was outstanding. Our waitress was very enthusiastic and outgoing, and even though she had a lot to do when she came over, she definitely made sure that our needs were met.
