Mongo’s is bustling with great vibes & aromas. Feels a bit like a college dorm with adults seeking their caffeine fix.
The leather seats are upscale and the XL wooden tables give off an aura of grandiosity.
But the main appeal is the coffee beans being ground here. One sip and it will beam your inner self up to the cosmos…

This place lives up to the hype. Delicious quiches. I truly appreciated that they were vegetarian and didn’t have to worry about ham. Brown butter miso latte did not disappoint, I asked to make it less sweet and it was so perfect. Atmosphere was lovely. I will have to make the trip out here more often to treat myself! I made sure to get a bag of Guatemalan coffee.

Such a cute space, was a little loud while working as they were grinding beans for the coffee but otherwise a great spot and I’ll be back to spend more time here. Iced coffee was flavorful and not bitter. Steak sandwich was actually quite a large meal to finish and I felt so stuffed afterwards.

This has literally become my 2nd home. The coffee choices are impeccable, the staff if very friendly and quick in service, the management and the owners are very responsive. The places is rustic they grind their own coffee been too. If you have not had Mongos Coffee then you are missing something.

Coffee first shop, with great sandwiches and baked goods to compliment their locally roasted beans. Thoughtful and attentive staff made us feel welcome, and it was clear from the presentation and flavor that they really care about the coffee. House made pumpkin syrup was amazing, and whole milk flat white was perfectly balanced with rich coffee flavor. We got a gluten free and regular version of the “downtown” sandwich, delicious and fresh. Highly recommend, family atmosphere with plenty of seating and WiFi, several people were working on laptops.

Mongo’s is a great go-to for espresso enthusiasts on Long Island.
The espresso is rich and tasty, and all baristas are very well trained.
Baked goods are ok to great. I have not had their sandwiches or other items.
Space is limited on a weekend, especially if you are looking for a chair and table as most seating is lounge chair, high top, or couch.

A must-visit coffee spot with great vibes and great values!
I absolutely love Mongo’s in Syosset. The space is large, comfortable, and has a fantastic atmosphere. The service is consistently friendly and welcoming—they make you feel right at home!
But what really sets them apart IMO is their dedication to offering high-quality, responsible products. Outside of their excellent coffee, I was so impressed with their selection of environmentally-friendly drinks. It’s great to see a coffeehouse stocking options like the Certified B Corp coconut water (like the one pictured!), which shows they care about sustainability and what’s in their drinks. It’s refreshing to know you can grab something tasty that’s also made by a company focusing on things like reducing plastic and avoiding nano-plastics.
Whether you’re there to work, relax, or just grab a quick, conscious drink, Mongo’s delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!

Solid coffee spot and eatery. The coffee is flavorful and the food, albeit a little pricy – is pretty tasty. The vibe is relaxed and chill, I would visit again for sure… a lot to try!

Coffee and my laptop , the perfect Sunday afternoon vibe. If I had to nitpick, I wish it came in a ceramic cup with latte art instead of paper. But I’m guessing they ran out of mugs since it’s such a busy afternoon.

Great coffee. I purchased a bag to bring home. At the Cafe itself, we had a hot chocolate and a mocha. Delicious. So I’m glad this place is busy, so it can be difficult to find d seating. Seats are stools, chairs, couches and comfy chairs. There is the roasting machine in the far right. Smells awesome when they are roasting the beans. Staff was friendly and helpful. This place is located in an industrial area and I just happen to stumble upon it. Great find! Famous last words..I’ll be back!
