This is one of the most unique dining experience as this cafe is inside a home. It felt like we were visiting our family friend Mona and her family/the staff.

We got the kibbeh ball, hummus & pita, beef shawarma platter, and knafe bil kishta. The experience make this a place I want to return to to try out other things on the menu.

Once you step through the door of this charming restaurant, it feels like you’ve arrived home after a long journey. You can almost hear yourself saying, “Hello, I’m home.” It’s a warm embrace that welcomes you, no matter where you’re coming from.

Nestled in a quaint villa, transformed into a delightful dining spot, each room surprises you with its unique charm while maintaining a harmonious style throughout. The ambiance is inviting, like visiting a beloved family member, and at the heart of it all is the wonderful owner, Mona. This amazing Lebanese lady makes you feel like family with her kindness and genuine hospitality.

The food? It’s nothing short of a culinary journey that tickles your taste buds and comforts your soul. Every dish tells a story, echoing the flavors of home-cooked meals you’ve loved throughout your life.

However, there is one small downside: the restaurant isn’t open every day. It’s a hidden gem, a place
you’ll want to keep visiting.

Fortunately, parking is available, making it easy for you to stop by and soak in the warm, relaxed atmosphere that feels just like home. Trust me, once you experience this place, you’ll understand why I can’t help but love it.

Hidden gem in Virginia. Monas Lebanese Café feels like stepping into a warm Lebanese home, cozy house-style décor, authentic atmosphere, and genuinely great food.

The breakfast was special and full of flavor, the kind of experience that feels personal and memorable. A must-visit if you’re looking for real Lebanese vibes and a relaxed, welcoming start to your day.

A true gem. The food was top notch, the setting was unique and very nice and Mona was so nice and helpful. Go for lunch and enjoy excellent hummus and we had the chicken schwarma and the spinach dumpling things. This isn’t out of a freezer bag – it’s actually home made food that’s made for you when you order it.

Mona was very kind and respectful. Her little restaurant in a repurposed home makes this place extra special. The food she makes is delicious and authentic traditional Lebanese food. I highly recommend this hidden gem for lunch or dinner.

We absolutely adored this charming family-owned restaurant! My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting for lunch today, and from the moment we walked in, it felt like we were welcomed into a Lebanese family’s home.

The food was incredibly authentic, and the owner, Mona, was exceptionally friendly, as were all the staff. What truly enchanted us was the exotic atmosphere. Upstairs, there’s a fascinating antique store with a delightful collection, all curated by Mona herself. It’s definitely worth a visit if you have the time.

I wholeheartedly recommend this place! If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to make the exterior sign more inviting. At first glance, it resembled an ordinary house, and we almost hesitated to go in. But once inside, it was a delightful experience!

Spectacular . Honestly, if their food is always like it was today I can say it is easily in my top 5. Everything is home cooked and it tastes like it. Hands down they have the best dolmas and falafels I’ve ever had! The kofta and leg of lamb were both amazing. The hummus was very good too. Even the salad was delicious. The restaurant is well designed (the home is from the 1860s) and has a nice historic feel. Mona was very kind and is an incredible cook. I can’t wait to return and I highly, highly recommend!!

It was a really nice place, what caught my attention was the great hospitality, despite coming 15 minutes before close they were very welcoming. The location is unique, it’s in a home and it almost feels like you are in a small town filled with rich culture. Food was very good ( home made meals) I am sure I’d return one day if I am in that area.

Authentic and awesome great tasting Lebanese food. Their customer service was impeccable and made me feel very welcoming, from the beginning to the end. The dishes were authentic and just with one bite you’ll be hooked like a fish, which led me into trying their dessert. . Thank you for the wonderful great tasting food and your wonderful hospitality. Also, yes machines and technology glitches are stubborn to repair; especially when you really need them for that moment.
