We came around 8 pm, they were closing at 9. There were no people at the restaurant, only 2 at the bar. We were approached by the hostess, she was very nice. After that everything went wrong. We waited 15 min for someone to come and get our order. (Giving the restaurant being empty, don’t know where the servers were) we asked the host couple of times for the server. She came, took our order….. We were waiting for our cocktails another 15-20 minutes, they were ready, but weren’t brought to us, because my husband went to the bar to ask what is taking so long. We ordered 2 different cocktails, but got 2 same one.The chicken wings appetizer came( was the best dish from everything we ordered). Regardless of the wrong cocktail, we were waiting for the food already maybe 50 min. And what a disappointment. My pasta was like from a can, mom’s salmon was very dry and cold, The spaghetti with mussels were tasteless. I mean we were very disappointed. Paid good money for worst service ever plus tasteless food.

Excellent meal. Filet with crab and sirloin were cooked exactly as ordered. Salmon was perfect. Scallops were tender, not overly fishy. Loved the heirloom carrots and the risotto. Cocktails were tasty, not watered down. The Flan was delicious! Service was attentive without being overly fussy. Relaxed, comfortable atmosphere.

Expected a good quality experience but fell short on several fronts. The decor and layout are good with a bar area separate from a restaurant area with tables and booths. Comfortable with good ambient light. Menu looked interesting but everything was let down by the quality of the cooking and service. The pan fried scallops with tomato risotto was under seasoned and the scallops were overcooked, gritty and overpowered by the pesto. The rib eye steak was a collection of fatty bits joined together with a few bits of edible meat. The side vegetables were very unappetizing. The only thing they got right was the calamari appetizer which was nicely done if a touch under seasoned. The service wasn’t good; slow, forgot things (we had to ask 2 wait staff for a steak knife) and the dishes took a long time to clear. Can’t recommend unfortunately.

Appetizers came out quickly but needed to wait over 45min for mains to arrive.
Great sear on scallops with surf and turf. Tender and full of flavour
Yukon gold mash blends well with the steak. Veggies cooked well and maintain fresh crunch to them.
Steak was overdone, but they refired and rushed out a new one which was done perfectly to order. Complimentary dessert to make things even. Great service.

Every time we visit this area we like to eat here. But no more! The menu has changed and no longer offers seasonal vegetables. The salad is iceberg lettuce, croutons and sunflower seeds with cheap bottled dressing. The sirloin steak meal is average. They now offer all you can eat spaghetti with marina sauce that is bland.
There were three waiting staff that spent more time at the end of the bar visiting and watching us. Only three tables with a total of seven patrons were in there. My pop was empty for a long time and we were only asked at the end of our meal if we wanted a refill. It’s not like our waitress was busy! We usually tip 20% + but not this time. Only 15% which we thought was still too much!
We won’t be returning unless they go back to how they were before with their old menu and quality. Too bad!

Visited Monaco Steakhouse on a Sunday night, and it was an excellent experience! The place was about half full, which created a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. They had football games on several screens, making it a great spot for sports fans. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect from start to finish.
I ordered the ribeye (pictured), and it was cooked to absolute perfection—juicy, flavorful, and tender. The garlic butter on top was a great touch, and the sides were equally delicious. Definitely a go-to spot in downtown Columbia Falls for a great steak and good vibes!

We reserved a table at Monaco last minute during our honeymoon in Glacier and we will forever be happy that we did! We put in the comments that we were here for our honeymoon. When we arrived (early!) we let them know we could hang at the bar but the hostess let us know our table was ready. When we got to our table there were some roses and baby’s breath and a note that read “a little something”.. this was so special to us! We ordered two appetizers, bacon wrapped jalapeños with cream cheese and a bowl of Mac and cheese. Both were phenomenal! My husband ordered the NY strip and I ordered the Monaco burger and we both loved our meals! Our server was amazing. We definitely recommend and will be back if we are ever in the area again!!

First off, drinks were great. The cinnamon old fashioned was great. Our server was Amity and she was fantastic. Super attentive and friendly. We wanted steak and couldn’t have been more disappointed. Not great cuts of meat at all. I ordered medium and basically got rare. Back to kitchen for more cooking, still barely medium rare. They offered to start from scratch and that steak came out even rarer. Not sure what’s going on with the kitchen but made for a disappointing experience. Steak was $39 and they did take off the bill etc but usually expect a pretty dialed in meal for that price.
