Have stopped in a couple times and tried some single-items. Tamales, tacos and quesadillas were all great. Reasonable price, small for the tacos and quesadillas, but priced appropriately and packed pretty full. Protein had great flavor, loved the onion and cilantro emphasis to compliment the protein. The gentleman that helped me both times greeted me right away and was friendly. The atmosphere is fine, doesn’t necessarily stand out. But comfortable with plenty of seating. Really my only complaint is that both times I came in there were shows that were not kid-friendly. I was in by myself both times, but if my kids had been with me, I would have been annoyed that they chose to have that tv programming on in the background. Based on that, not sure I’d bring the family in versus getting food to-go. But will definitely return based on quality of food and friendliness of staff.

Such a cute downtown space. We came for dinner and had a great meal. The salsa was extra fresh and flavorful plus the tacos didn’t disappoint. If you live in the area, or are visiting, it is worth the stop! The food was so reasonably priced and we didn’t break the bank for our family of four to eat out.

We absolutely LOVE Mom’s Tacos and always bring in our family and friends visiting us because of how good it is. I work in the city and have yet to find a Mexican spot there as consistent in quality as Mom’s Tacos. I have never been disappointed here! My go to dishes are mulitas and esquites, absolutely delicious and freshly made. We love that it is a family owned business and they are all so friendly and attentive.

I went in this charming little spot for the first time this evening and ordered the quesadilla and it was absolutely delicious. The customer service was fantastic. Love the vibes of the restaurant. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore. If you’re in the Buckley area don’t skip out stop in.

Food was delicious, chorizo burrito had a nice amount of spice and the tortilla was perfectly cooked. Carnitas tacos were delicious with a good ratio of protein to onion/cilantro. Staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive for an order-at-the-counter place, however the staff do handle clearing the table. Definitely a go-to spot if you’re in the area.

Absolutely delicious food and a fantastic lunch experience! We stopped in for lunch and were genuinely impressed. Every dish was bursting with flavor, and the variety of salsas added a perfect touch to our meal. Pedro went above and beyond. He was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. I’ve had some incredible tacos in my time, but the ones from Mom’s Tacos in the small town of Buckley stand out as among the very best. Though I may never find myself in that corner of Washington again, Mom’s has set a new benchmark for what great tacos should be. Bravo to the entire team, you’ve truly raised the bar.

Easily the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, especially the tamales. They’ve moved to a spot downtown, and are now open an hour later (until 8 PM) than at their old location. Though, being downtown, I hope they eventually start staying open much later, as this will be a huge hit for late night munchies!! I’ll post a photo of their current hours.
To anyone wanting to visit at their new location downtown (next to Main Street Bistro): Have patience! I recommend allowing ample time as they work out the kinks of their new location and transitioning from taco truck capacity to full restaurant capacity; be nice and give them some grace! Plan for extra time. They were always VERY quick when they were in the taco truck, so I have no doubt they’ll get there here as well.
To the new staff at Mom’s Tacos: I noticed some people were given number placards, but the number wasn’t written on their order ticket. With our order, our name was taken on the order ticket, but no number placard was given. I recommend picking one or the other of the methods, then be sure to write either name or number placard on the order ticket for streamlined service. I would also recommend letting each customer know before they order how long the cooking queue is estimated to take, as knowing how long is anticipated helps quell people’s patience.

Amazing, Mexican food! Best in Buckley. We got the tamales with beans and rice, salsa, chips, and a burrito. It was all extremely delicious and must try!
