This quaint friendly cafe serves up the best food in town. Hearty breakfasts that include Troy’s Signature Skillets, Buttermilk Pancakes, Omelettes and Sausage Gravy Biscuits. We have 1/2 lb. hand-pressed burgers, hot sandwiches, wraps and delicious salads with scratch-made dressings. Now serving lattes, homemade pies, cookies, bread pudding and the only hard-scoop ice cream in town.

Cute little breakfast place. The historic ceiling is something I’m oddly fascinated by! The options are great for skillet meals (hashbrowns, cheese, eggs, and toast). I had the veggie skilled and added a side of gravy to it, so satisfying for a Sunday morning breakfast! I also had the salted caramel toffee specialty coffee, my only issue was that it was served in a to-go mug (I probably should have specified we weren’t just grabbing coffee to go). I love coffee in a mug, but the taste and caffeination was there so not a big complaint, just me being fairly dramatic.

The food is basic fare, for those with sensitivities or allergies you should be specific and non assuming. Ice cream selection is good and fair priced. Also appears to be a casual coffee shop, will return but it’s not likely to be for a meal.

Quaint little cafe. Nice service. Friendly staff. hubby ordered hard eggs and got soft. They resolved it without any fuss. But we ended up not eating at the same time. Good coffee and nice vibe. Also has ice cream selection and daily specials. Nice pit stop if you are passing through pine city!!

As usually the place was busy. Seated myself. The server was busy so I just waited my turn. When she arrives at my table she apologized as it was dirty. No big deal she was busy. She got me my drinks and brought menus right away as I waited for my sister. Right after my sister sat she was at our table getting her drinks. We didn’t wait very long her her to come back and take our orders. Our food was delicious. And we both were surprised with the amount of food we got for the price. We were very happy. Had the cranberry chicken salad wrap with a side of pasta. Cheese curds as the appetizer. The wild rice soup was so good! As busy as she was she made time to check on us and get refills on drinks. Very pleasant young lady! Price was good for the food. All around a great experience. Would definitely go back! And they have Kemps ice cream flavors you can’t buy in the store! So so good!

My favorite breakfast café! All their dishes are made from scratch with “Real” ingredients and not from a box. Don’t miss out on this breakfast/lunch location. You might have to wait a moment for a table, but that’s because this is where the locals eat if that tells you anything!

Cute ma and pa diner in Pine city! Amazing snickerdoodles and very simple yet BIG portioned breakfast! Our waitress was very friendly and sweet as well! Hash browns were crispy and delicious, they have ice cream there as well! I went for a bite to eat quick while heading up to Duluth from the cities, you should too!
