It’s a shame my service was awful, because most of the food items my husband and I tried today tasted pretty good. 2 of the sides were not that great but the meat, cabbage, and Mac and cheese were good. The owner was rude though when I asked a simple question for clarification. The food was good was not good enough for me to return if you’re going to be rude. There are plenty of other places with nice customer service. Wanted to support a fellow black business but you can’t expect me to return if I can’t ask a question without catching attitude.

Mom’s home cooking is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ! The best soul food place I personally have ever ate at. I love her baked chicken and meatloaf and the cabbage is amazing like no cabbage I have ever eaten. Pintos are on point and not to mention the owner is nothing less than an amazing , kind and humble person. People posting bad review’s, I’m sorry you were having a bad day. If yall haven’t tried her food I highly recommend it’s a 11/10 !

This place is delicious! The people that work there/own the restaurant are absolutely so sweet! My mother-in-law went to pick up some take out and she called to make sure of where they were located. Very warm and welcoming. We ordered mashed potatoes which wasn’t even on the menu that day and she said “hold on, I’ll make some” with no issue at all! Such sweet people.

The food is great. Mac and cheese are always fresh and seasoned. Nothing tastes bland and always hot. Most fried meats are cooked to order. Mall seating for atmosphere.
