I waited almost an hour for my order to be ready. Unfortunately, I couldn’t cancel because Skip had already assigned me two orders and I didn’t want my acceptance rate to be affected. The long wait caused unnecessary delay and was frustrating. I hope this can be improved moving forward.

Everything was delicious and wonderful. My partner and I ate every single bite of our food because it was so delicious. The tuna and salmon sashimi was the best I’ve had in the city. Great quality for good price! The chicken karage portion was so big and crispy. We even had a time crunch because we had to leave in 45 mins and everything came out so fast! I was so impressed and go back!

Stopped in at this restaurant after 2:00pm and therefore I guess it should be considered a late lunch. We ordered the special salmon sushi & chirashi-don which came with miso soup and we had a pot of green tea. The food was expertly prepared and was as it should be. The indoor space was somewhat unremarkable so it didn’t really seem to add anything special to the ambience. The service was excellent however, I enjoyed the meal and we left satisfied…

This is my new favourite spot! It’s a shame I’ve lived in the neighborhood for a few years and only had dinner here last night, years of missing out. We had the miso, yam tempura (which was incredible) assorted sashimi, the dynamite combo and a few pieces of the butterfish and sockeye salmon. Everything was super fresh and delicious. The staff were awesome, it was busy but they all did a great job keeping up with everyone.
Will definitely be coming back here from now on!

Great sushi at a decent price.
This place is not going to blow anyone away with it’s level of service or it’s atmosphere, but that isn’t why people go to hole-in-the-wall sushi places. People go for great sushi and in that regard, you won’t be disappointed.
Food is very tasty and every roll is jam-packed with flavour. Wasabi, ginger and spicy mayo are complimentary and served to accompany every roll. If you’re looking for small, easy to bite rolls this isn’t going to work for you because each roll makes you really feel like you’re getting your money’s worth as they’re each stuffed full and come out quite big across the board.
The service, unsurprisingly, is aloof and underwhelming. The atmosphere is plain and the lighting is drab (but bonus points for the Bose sound system).
I can confidently recommend this establishment for people living nearby to grab a nice bite of sushi without breaking the bank. (My favourite roll here to try something new is the Magicarp Roll)

I always like to look at the one star reviews to see what issues those people have had. Looks like many of them are from many years ago. I had to look because it didn’t make sense to me. This place is soooooo good. I heard it changed ownership maybe that’s why they had some bad reviews. This is my new go to.

What a hidden gem! This is one of my favourite spots for sushi that is consistently excellent quality food, excellent service and they do really delicious features. It’s one of our favourite neighbourhood destinations for a casual but great quality meal.

The sushi here was very fresh and the service was great. We were in the area and called in as a group to see if there was seating availability right before going. By the time we arrived just a few minutes later, they had already set up our table and were ready to serve us.
They have gluten free options available as well and they are marked on the menu! Several items can also be adjusted to be made gluten free and they offer gluten free soy sauce.

The menu is extensive, and includes their own innovative specialties. My appetizer was blue-tuna Sashimi. Then I had the Fuyiyama Roll. Creative presentation, and superb taste! I will return and try many of their various items, knowing they will be just as well prepared. The Spicy Salmon Sashimi is excellent, and I highly recommend it.
