My table ordered many of the dumpling based dishes and all were innovative, colorful, and super tasty. I went rogue with the chicken vindaloo, and it was one of the most exciting and satisfying things that I’ve eaten in a long while. Nepalese style vindaloo has a thicker, richer, and less sour sauce than most parts of India, and the spicing was outstanding and subtle yet packed plenty of heat. Looks great on the plate, too. Serving size here is huge, and the value is exceptional.

AMAZING RESTAURANT AND SERVICE! Very close to UNC. I go there every other day. The food is amazing, the service is amazing. And must try their masala tea! The staff is really good too and Sanskriti is very warm and wonderful!

The food is excellent and unique here, almost like a fusion between Chinese and Indian cuisine. The portions are reasonable and everything well-seasoned. The price does feel high for what is essentially dumplings, especially considering that you have to pay extra for any meat filling, making a standard tray of 8 dumplings cost about ~13 dollars. Also, the Sizzler MoMo’s is supposed to have asparagus, but as you can see, the dish only had a single, undercooked asparagus for looks more than for flavor. Nonetheless, the noodles were excellent. I would come back again from time to time, but it’s too expensive to be a regular stop.

We came here after seeing many Google reviews praising the food. The food itself was decent—no real complaints there.

The steamed dumplings had a nice Nepalese touch and were enjoyable.

The fried rice was okay as well.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was spoiled by the location and environment.

We had to pay for parking, and while walking toward the entrance we were approached by people on the corner who smelled strongly of marijuana and made uncomfortable comments as we passed. Once inside, a man held the door politely as he was leaving—but then came back to the restaurant and sat very close to us, began speaking overly familiar, and tried to join our family’s conversation. He was uncomfortably close to my child, which immediately put me on alert. I changed seats to create a physical barrier, and thankfully he eventually took the hint and moved away.

It’s very hard to enjoy a meal with your family when you don’t feel safe or comfortable. The sense of being in the wrong place completely took away from the dining experience.

I spoke with the young woman at the counter, who was very kind and apologetic. She mentioned the man was likely homeless and apologized for what happened, which I appreciated.

That said, due to the overall discomfort, this is not a place I would return to, even though the food itself was fine.
One extra detail, bathroom could be cleaner.

Solid spot in CH for a family-style dinner in a clean restaurant. Usually quite chill. Momo’s (Nepalese dumplings) are quite good. So were the samosas and yogurt bombs, especially the yogurt bombs. Mango lassis are a really nice must-have for the meal (also balances out the spice). 2 apps + 2 mains are good for 3 people.

Duck bao buns + fries were not my fav; too little duck, not enough bun, and fries were not crispy. They have way better things on the menu. The super fried stuff on the menu is super fried and a bit too oily in my experience.

Previously I have enjoyed the lamb sliders and veggie dumplings.

Things can be quite spicy in my experience and there is a lot of cilantro on top.

I stopped by The Momo Master and honestly it’s the go-to spot if you’re serious about momos. They’ve got every style you can imagine: steamed, fried, chili, jhol… each one with its own personality and flavor. You can literally taste the craft.
The moment you walk in, the place just hits different. The warm brick walls, the soft wood accents, the hanging lanterns everything gives off a calm, homely, bistro vibe. It’s the kind of spot where you sit down for a quick bite and end up staying longer because it feels so peaceful. Even the little decor touches the Buddha fountain, the wall art add such a comforting energy.

If you love momos or just want a chill place with good food and good vibes, this place is absolutely worth it.
Momos on point. Ambience on point. Will definitely be back.

Horrible customer service. Lady at the front counter had an attitude problem if you ask any questions about the menu.
Restaurant name is Momo’s Master but the momos below average, overcooked and cold. Serving plate was dirty too. I actually felt weired after eating these momos.

I recently visited this spot, and it exceeded my expectations! The ambience was warm and inviting, with a clean and well-maintained environment. The staff were attentive and courteous, ensuring a seamless experience. My friend’s recommendation was well-timed, as the food was exquisite. I’m thrilled to have booked it for my birthday celebration next Sunday. The promise of delightful service and scrumptious dishes has me counting down the days. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience, look no further. I’m eager to create new memories with loved ones in this lovely setting.

We had steamed, fried (kothey) and sizzler momo! The food was amazing! We have tried momo from probably hundreds of places in the U.S. and this one was excellent. Service was great too! Definitely coming back again tomorrow.
