Momo’s Cafe was gone but definitely not forgotten. Their downtown location is still waiting but their new temporary location has its perks with their larger dining area, it is slightly bare from decor, but also has great potential. The food is as usual amazing, come out and give your support to this local Vallejo gem.

To those who are new here- the OG location had a fire which set back this amazing fam. To keep the vision alive they moved to this drive up location temporarily (hence the photos not matching, don’t be so critical- food remains the same!)
We had a small baby shower here with Good Compenny friends- food was off the hook everyone ranted and raved about their meals. I had fajitas and the green salsa was BOMB. My kids loved it and our friends got some wings which were absolutely fire. Chicken and waffles were crazy too.

This place is a gem! First day we were here we had pancakes which are the best pancakes I’ve had on my vacation so far. Today I had the French toast which was amazing as well. You can’t got wrong eating here! Go eat here! This is a must stop and eat here place for Vallejo! The food is absolutely amazing. The staff is friendly and food comes out fast!

Turkey no melt. It was so delicious! The bread was toasted to perfection, crunch in every bite with the taste of melted butter. Thick slices of seasoned turkey and fresh avocado. The fries were just as tasty. Hot and crispy. Fast and polite service. I have to come back now for their breakfast.

We visited Momo’s during our trip to the Maker Faire. Walking up, we were a little confused. The pictures for the outside do not currently align with how it actually looks, and I heard it’s because their previous location burned down earlier in the year.
There is a window you order at that connects to the kitchen (which looked very clean from what I could see). As of this review, there is no table service, but they will let you eat your meal in their dining room. We opted to take ours back to the hotel.
My huevos rancheros came with a side of sour cream, guac, and a green salsa that was so tasty I pour it over every component of my breakfast, and my husband used what was left for his eggs (they provided a generous portion!). The salsa had the perfect level of heat. The steak was thinly cut and cooked in some sort of delicious sauce before being added to my breakfast. It was tender with no chewy or fatty pieces. The home fries were also good.
My husband’s chicken and waffles was still crispy after our 8 minute walk back to our room. They give you half a breast, a full wing, and two thighs, all of which were bone-in. It was very well seasoned and not dry. I’d say it was a combo of seasoning salt and some sort of sugar, as it was mildly sweet. Whatever it was, it was very yummy. The waffle was pretty basic (it is a waffle after all).
We were pleasantly surprised by our experience, and agreed that the Huevos Rancheros was the overall tastier breakfast. Don’t let appearances keep you from trying this place out!

EXCEPTIONAL FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Their temporary location is on Broadway St!!! MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!! The Santa Fe Omelette and the Carnitas Omelette are my husband and I’s FAVORITE!!!!! Not to mention they are the only breakfast spot where you can get potatoes AND pancakes with your breakfast with no extra charge!!!! YOU HAVE TO CHECK THIS SPOT OUT!!!!!
