We had a really enjoyable dine-in experience here. The quality of the food was solid across the board, the pricing felt very reasonable, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. While this isn’t a place trying to be trendy or overly experimental, what they do, they do well, which honestly is what you want from a neighborhood sushi spot.
We ordered spicy tuna, salmon, and California rolls, and all of the sushi was well made, fresh, and nicely balanced. The fish tasted clean and fresh, the rice was prepared properly, and the rolls held together well. We also had miso soup and edamame, both of which were simple but done right and complemented the meal nicely.
The overall vibe was casual and comfortable, making it a good place to dine in and actually enjoy the meal rather than rush through it. For the quality you get, the value for the money is very good, and we left feeling satisfied rather than feeling like we overpaid for the experience.
Nothing about the meal felt gimmicky or forced, just straightforward, well executed sushi at a fair price with good service. We would definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, enjoyable sushi option.

We were in the area and were craving some sushi; we were blown away! The food quality was so good, I got the spicy sushi platter for under $25, plus the princess roll and my boyfriend’s sushi burrito and gyoza. The quality matched up with the “fancy” sushi restaurants we’ve been too, for half the price! Highly highly recommend. I can’t stress how amazing the food was, and the staff was so kind. Definitely a worthy place to stop if you are in the area!!

Michigan roll is very good. Tried other baked sushi on the menu from past vista and they didn’t disappoint. Best sushi in town! Will go back for more

Food? Delicious. Service? Waiter was patient, kind, and very welcoming, also really helpful. Restaurant? Quiet, only one other person. Have kids? Come here, they give kids cute plastic cups so you don’t have to worry about them breaking a glass one. Would I come back? Wish I could, but I’m only in Michigan for vacation. Salmon rolls were amazing, pretty sure they came in about 5 minutes or so. So cute, they put them in a flower shape.

Horrible service they claim to put masago on the California roll, but this is how much they gave. Then when I asked them for some that was a decent amount they tried to charge me four dollars. Mind you I ordered extra when I called it in. Used to be good service they used to include soup and salad with the food. It’s just gone downhill.

My husband & I dropped in for dinner after a quick Christmas shopping trip at Briarwood Mall. The place is small, but clean and we were able to get a table right away. The staff was friendly and the service was good.
We started out with an order of pork gyoza, which came out quickly. They were hot and crispy, but a little underwhelming. For dinner, we were intrigued by the “sushi burritos” on the menu. We love sushi and poke bowls, but have never tried anything like that. When we asked what the difference was, our server said they are the same, but the burritos are larger. The Fireball Burrito was actually a dollar cheaper than the Fireball Sushi Roll, so I gave it a try. It was tasty, but I think I’d go with the sushi roll next time as it just didn’t feel like sushi eating it like that. I think I prefer the bite-size pieces and the crunch lost its crunch when mixed in like it was. My husband tried the Dragon Burrito and he enjoyed it, but felt eating it burrito-style was definitely messier!
Overall, we felt like the food was good and the prices were reasonable. This is a casual and quick place to go for some fairly priced sushi (and sushi-like) dishes.

Awesome little spot with very tasty food. The service was very attentive and the staff was also nice and welcoming. The food arrived MAYBE 2 minutes after ordering. The place also looked clean and there weren’t any funky odors. The Philadelphia roll, salmon lover poke bowl and seaweed salad I ordered were all delicious. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for some quick quality sushi.

The sushi rolls are delicious and perfectly rolled! The prices are fair – especially if you are getting a lunch deal. I’m happy to have a yummy Japanese restaurant in such a convenient location – and without having to navigate downtown traffic. This is a independently owned restaurant! Shop local 🙂

Terrible place! We will never go back there again. I was there with my wife and daughter trying this place for the first time and ordered some rolls and one of the rolls we ordered was the amberjack roll and I took 1 bite and spit it out because it tasted like a OLD STINKY fish. They left the blood line on the fish as well and that also made it more fishier. The funny part was when the waitress came to our table we had told her about the roll and her answer was that we can’t take it off the bill because it’s the owners policy! She told me to talk to the chef and when I did talk to him, his answer was the owners don’t allow us to take it off the bill. This place is dead and the food quality is very poor and I recommend that if u don’t wanna get sick STAY AWAY!

I love white tuna (aka escarole… technically not tuna) and I was pleasantly surprised that they offered a white tuna roll. It was fabulous.
The other dish we ordered was a vegetable bowl with fried tofu. Very nice.
It was the first time we ever tried citrus jelly tea. That was a wonderful surprise. So flavorfully and didn’t even contain tea leaves.
We will be back the next time we are in the area
