I was craving good food and went there, expecting a good experience, but it wasn’t. The dining area was extremely cold, and my hands were freezing. Both the momo soup and noodle soup were overly salty and tasted burnt. I’ve been to many restaurants where soups are prepared better; this place only gets 3 stars because of their handcrafted momo, which tastes somewhat decent. If you’re looking for high-quality food and flavor, I wouldn’t recommend this place. That’s just my opinion, and I’ll let you decide.

Momo’s Kitchen is truly phenomenal. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh and packed with flavor—you can tell they use quality ingredients and put real care into the food. The staff was just as impressive: friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to guide us through the menu with great recommendations. They made the whole experience feel welcoming and effortless. If you’re looking for a place with fresh, flavorful food and top-notch service, Momo’s Kitchen is absolutely worth the visit

Momo Kitchen is amazing. We tried steam momo, fried momo, chowmein (MK Noodles), samosa with Chholey. The steam momo was so so good we reordered it. Both coriander and sesame chutneys went good with momo. Momo and Chowmein here has authentic taste, like in Nepal. We didn’t like the gravy of Chholey, it tasted like ketchup.

Ambience here gives you feeling of Nepal, with wonderful paintings of Kumari, Bouddhanath, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and spices displayed on ‘Nanglo’. The servers and owners were very friendly and accomodated to us when we reordered around their closing time. We will visit again.

Overall, must try place for authentic nepali Momo

Momo Kitchen is an exceptional Nepalese restaurant that offers an incredible dining experience. The restaurant itself is nice and clean with a great atmosphere, making it a welcoming spot in the downtown area. The staff are notably friendly, kind, and helpful, especially when guiding newcomers through the menu, which is perfect for those new to Nepali cuisine like me. The absolute highlights are the momos and their accompanying sauce. The dumplings are tender and juicy, and the sauce is vibrant, zesty, and incredibly complex, boasting a perfect balance of tang and spice (the sesame sauce is a must try!!!). Adding to the convenience, the area offers good and convenient parking, with a free parking lot.

⭐ MOMO Kitchen – Mixed Experience

Osiris Hotness Scale: 6/10

MOMO Kitchen is a very clean restaurant — including the bathrooms — which I truly appreciated. The space itself feels well kept and organized, and the food quality seems promising. However, this particular visit had several issues that affected the overall experience.

We were there for a group lunch, and the service flow was extremely uneven. People at the table received parts of their meals at very different times, which made it hard to enjoy the meal together. My dish — Chicken Tikka Masala — took about 1.5 hours to arrive. By the time it came out, everyone else had already finished eating, so I had to take my meal to go.

The restaurant was also uncomfortably cold, which made the long wait feel even longer. When I asked for to-go containers, they were forgotten, and I eventually had to walk to the kitchen to get them myself.

To be fair, the staff did appear short-handed, and they were working on a large volume of online orders. That said, with only three groups dining in, it would have been better to either pause online orders or be more transparent about the long wait time.

Overall: Clean space and potential, but service timing and communication need improvement. This 6/10 reflects this visit specifically, not the restaurant as a whole.

It was our first time here and we loved it. Almost everything on the menu was able to be made vegan and it was all very tasty. For an easy and fast casual spot it they knocked it out of the park. This is our new comfort food place and it should be yours too. We had the curry, soup with momos and momos.

We live nearby and walk by all the time. We finally stopped in and Im so happy we did! I’m sad we didn’t stop in earlier! We had the steamed dumplings, chicken wings, potato patty, and a smoothie. Everything was good. They even have a bar! When it gets warmer there is outdoor seating and the neighboring spots have live music. We spoke with the owner and he was such a nice guy! Please stop in, you won’t regret it! I can’t wait to come back 🙂

Excellent experience. So many restaurants are uninspiring. From their service to their food they completely lack any soul. Our experience there was completely the opposite. I wmam typically not a big fan of dumplings because of quality. I took a chance and got a steamed order which is, for me, the true quality test. These were perfect. The texture was spot on. As to spice level we went with medium and were glad we did. Lots of flavor with with some heat. The noodles seemed to have a bit more bite than the dumplings at medium heat but they were still excellent.

Dumplings! Dumplings infused with the flavors and tradition of Nepal packed with chicken, veggie, or vegan options, steamed or fried.
They have noodles, soups and rice platters, plus American fusion options.
We tried mild and spicy, steamed and fried dumpling options with chicken. Mild, steamed chicken Momo packed with flavor and dipped in a thick, flavorful, house-made sauce is perfect. The fried chili chickeb Momo will clear the respritory pipes but not leave you in pain, just a pleasant simmering buzz of heat and energy from the joy of discovery.
I found the perfect compliment to the milder momo opinion in a ROSE Lassi which is a yogurt smoothie. OMG. Rose is a next-level nectar of the universe. I plan to go just for that. They also have them in mango, strawberry and banana which cut the strongest spice level.
I need to take a moment to mention the art. The mural by Sam Welty is glorious. It envelopes the entire room as an extension of the signature color. I will add an image because words can’t do it justice because its a mood.
I particularly appreciated the thoughtful details of hooks for you bag, a foot rest and outlets for those who eat at the bar.
This place will not remain a secret for long. It is a new addition to the community menu that’s off the beaten path. Tucked away at the new Railyard on Hampton Blvd. near the railroad overpass, Momo Kitchen is the spice your life may be craving.
