Momo Café is a Tibetan-owned coffee shop in Northeast Minneapolis that boasts a menu of unique espresso/lattes. They also have a lot of less common flavorings for their drinks, including Black Sesame.
I ordered a Sunrise Sandwich on a croissant. The croissant was fluffy and crispy from the toaster. The Sriracha mayo on the sandwich really paired well with the egg and cheese. 10/10 would order that again.
I tried the Pistachio Rose latte per staff’s recommendation. It was very earth and delicious. Not too sweet at all, the flavors spoke for themselves.
The place is cozy but offers plenty of seating. They have a number of stoneware pieces, vases, and other artwork. The staff is friendly, willing to offer recommendations or answer questions.
A lovely spot to go to and support locally. I will definitely go back to try their Momos and another drink soon!

If this spot was closer to me, I would definitely be a regular here. My mom and I were doing a grocery run and had wanted to grab a quick bite. So that’s how we found Momo Cafe!
When we entered we loved how cozy and relaxed the cafe was. There were people studying or causally meeting up so it was a welcoming feel. We decided to try their Almond Danish, Mixed Momos (4 Beef + 3 Veggie), an Ube White Mocha Latte and a Pistachio Rose Latte.
My personal favorite was the almond danish which had a buttery flaky bite to it. As for the lattes, the ube was sweeter in comparison to the pistachio. Next time I would definitely go for the ube as it was the perfect sweetness for me. 🙂 The momos where great and are best hot!
Overall, a lovely experience and I would definitely bring more friends to introduce it to them!

Coffee, donuts & dumplings in a cozy, eclectic atmosphere! This place has Tibetan dumplings (momo!) that are steamed fresh and absolutely delicious. I had the veggie (potato and chive), along with a non-dairy cappuccino that was well-crafted & served in a happy mug. They also have donuts from Bogarts to pair with your coffee! Additionally, there is a cute, interactive photo wall, games, books, a record player and movies on VHS. I would call this a win because of the combination of things offered here that pleased all parties, as well as the inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile and continue to eat dumplings all day.

this might have been my favorite overall place in Minnesota! the food was incredible, and the drinks were perfect! I ordered a French toast latte with extra foam, and both the flavor and the milk texture were absolute perfection. the Kani (crab salad) croissant sandwich was also delicious, one of the best tasting crab salads I’ve had. the vibes of this place are also great, a fantastic spot to just chill and hang out or study. they even sell little knicknacks and stickers that were super cute!

Momo cafe is so lovely!!!! The vibes of this place are immaculate. I love how much culture is presented here with Tibetan and Asian representation. Although I’m not Tibetan, I’m so happy to see a Tibetan cafe in Minnesota!! It’s so rare to come across places that are Tibetan so I absolutely love having a place to come thats in the cities. I ordered a brown butter donut and what!!!!!!!! It looks *almost* as good as it tastes! So good. I ordered a salted caramel iced latte and YUM!!!! So delish! Their flavors are so great and not too sweet! I can still get the taste of the espresso and all of the rich flavors. Gabriella made my drink & they were so sweet!!!! Amazing customer service and my drink came out SO fast! Great fantastic amazing awesome barista that deserves $100/hr raise. The staff here seems so kind and genuine! Will absolutely be coming back!

A nice little cafe spot with a fun and tasteful retro inspired atmosphere. The food selection was excellent for a cafe. I got the ube latte which I highly recommend, with a vibrant look and a good flavor it was a nice latte experience. The customer service was also quite good. Overall I recommend a trip to momo cafe if you are looking for a lofi type beat, its a perfect place to study at or meet with up with friends.

This was my first visit here – because my normal neighborhood coffee shop doesn’t open until 8 am and Momo opens earlier.
Immediate first impressions:
1) Comfort
2) Clean
3) Style – this is not a sterile coffee shop
4) Friendly service
5) Affordable – less than $5 for a cappuccino including a 25% tip
I will definitely be back!!
Oh, and the coffee? It’s great!!

Momo is a really cute coffee house/cafe in Northeast Minneapolis. I was there mid-afternoon, and it was packed. There were, however, still plenty of places to sit
They have the usual assortment of drinks, plus they have some rather interesting ones. My friend had the maple orange latte! She said is was delicious!
I had a chai, and it is house-made. It was not overly sweet, which is nice, and they served it in a lovely ceramic mug. I thought it had a bit too much cinnamon on the top, but it was pretty! They serve Bogart’s doughnuts and Rustica pastries. Plus they have hot food including momos – which is a Tibetan dumpling. Having been to Tibet, I need to go back and try them.
My friend had a gluten-free scone, which had fruit filling. She said it was great. I am not a big fan of Bogart’s doughnuts, but it was fresh and tasty nonetheless.
The furniture is cozy, and the tables are wooden and large. They also have outdoor tables.
I heartily recommend this lovely place. It is nice to go to a place with a lot of character and personality.

The customer service is outstanding! We appreciate that they acknowledge and recognize us when we walk in. The pastries are amazing. Chocolate donuts, almond croissants, cinnamon rolls, butter croissants are all delicious! In nice weather we are able to walk there. In the cold snowy weather parking can be an issue, but we always manage. I had 1 issue with my coffee once and the staff person quickly fixed it and was very kind and helpful, as they always are! Since we are typically there in the morning, I have not tried the dumplings yet, but I imagine they are also very good.

Overall great place to stop for coffee. They had 4 winter speciality drinks available and plenty of other options when I was there. Didn’t get any Ube flavored drinks but they do have them.
