Mommy’s Kitchen is now our number one spot for Indian food! We tried their chole bhature, butter chicken, and Indian pizza. Everything was absolutely perfect and beyond our imagination…flavors that were spot-on and truly delicious.

Highly recommended! Everyone should give their food a try.

My go-to place for home cooked style North Indian food for years. We have done catering on multiple occasions. Their quality and taste of food has been consistent. It’s a blessing to have them close to our house.

Over time, the quality of food here has deteriorated quite a bit. It used to be good.
Our most recent experiences:
1. Samosas: refried and smelled of oil. I bet that the French fries at any McDonalds are treated better! Yep – they were left alone and are a waste.
2. Khanna Dhokla: Super dry to the point where it was very hard to consume where we were literally were reaching for water and coughing every bite – we couldn’t finish it.
3. Vegetables (Paneer Tikka and Malai Kofta): Nothing very special to write home about – generally way sweeter than what you will get from other places. Edible (and kids may even like it due to sweetness) but not recommended.

They used to have one of the best samosas at reasonable prices back in the day, but the prices have skyrocketed & both the quality & quantity have taken a hit.

The samosas used to be huge and fresh, but now have shrunk in size (more like medium sized) with higher prices.

We ordered Samosa chaat and papdi chaat. Super disappointing- Samosa chaat had two med sized samosa and a small container (8oz max) of Choley and the tamarind and green chutney’s in small containers (2-3 tblspn each). There was not enough Choley for both samosa’s.
Papdi chaat had fried papdi, a 4oz container of yogurt and Choley (and potato) boiled (4-5tblspn) plus the two chutneys. Even when we mixed all of these stuff- it tasted of the oily papdi only.
This is seriously my first chaat without a piece of onion, tomato, coriander leaves or any sev. There was no freshness in the chaat- Very oily and $22 for it-
Never going back again!! I would rather drive to Issaquah or Redmond.

A takeout only place for Indian food in Sammamish.

We ordered Poori, Aalo Tikki Chaat and Kadhai Chicken.
Aalo Tikki Chaat was our favorite. The Aalo tikki were perfectly shaped and soft! Since it is a takeout, the entire chaat was in different components – the Tangy sauce, Green Chilli sauce, Channa Masala and the Aalu Tikki. all components tasted amazing seperately and also when combined as a Chaat. Would have loved to have Yogurt too (the way we like it!)

Poori was amazing, this was like homemmade poori. It was soft and tasted perfectly!

The Kadhai Chicken was different that we had at other resturant. this was a tangy tomato sauce. The curry was delicous and the chicken was soft!

This is on the NE 8th Street and you have plenty of the parking inside the house/resturant!

Achari chicken & gobi Manchurian were total disappointment. Chicken was stale and gobi Manchurian was so hard that felt like we are eating bone Manchurian. Not going to this place ever again.
The lady who took the order was very cooperative and gave good suggestions but if food is not tasty then nothing else matters.

If you are going to put a few chunks of green pepper in to butter chicken and sell it as kadai chicken, kindly make it clear in your menu. That’s exactly what I got today when I ordered spicy kadhai chicken – a super sweet butter chicken gravy with a few chunks of pepper. Why deceive customers like this?

Fantastic new spot in the Green Lake area! I had the fish curry, vegetable jalfrezi, and spinach dal—and all three dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully spiced. The use of traditional Indian spices was spot on, and I really appreciated that “medium” spice was exactly that—just the right amount of heat.
I was impressed by the variety of options and generous portions. The service was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.
So glad to have discovered this gem. It’s now part of my regular rotation. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine in a warm, welcoming setting.

Worst Indian food I’ve ever had. Watery, bad quality ingredients. Ordered may things, everything tasted bad. And expensive too. Disappointing.
