Went here on a whim on a drizzly day, and craving soup.
I got the Hungarian soup and one of their fried cheese and rice balls(not sure what they’re actually called). The soup was delicious and flavorful, and my parents liked it too.
Worker gave me a sample of their macaroni salad, and it’s been some of the best I’ve had in a while. It was not skimping on flavor and had good amount of minced onion in it.
Can’t wait to go again and try one other sandwich sandwiches.

Delicious and reasonably priced gluten free lunch. All cookies and soup are GF. Hungarian Mushroom always available! So excited to have this close to work and home! They will see us often.

I was excited to see a soup focused restaurant and we will be back. However, there room for improvement in order to give it a 5 star.

The African peanut soup was great. The mushroom was good with lots of mushrooms. I recommend that the mushrooms be cut smaller. Most were too big for the spoon and it became a balancing act to not drop them. This would also be good as a creamed soup which provides a better blend of mushroom with the liquid.

Coming from Texas where there are a lot of displaced Loiusianians due to hurricanes, my partner was puzzled with his muffaletta. While the sandwich was good, there was about 20% more meat than that found on a traditional muffaletta, the bread did not totally cover the meat and was not fluffy like the bread used in a muffaletta. The olive tapenade was quite scant and black olive which gives a more bitter taste. The authentic muffaletta had predominately chopped green olives with oil and seasoning which was less bitter. Looking at pictures of this sandwich, the ratio of meat to bread ranges from 1:1 to 1:2. This is using the high profile bread with sesame seed on top, which was the most commonly used. Ours was 6:1 It might be best to maket this as a hoagie with a thicker profile and put it on smaller amount of mixed cheeses and meat, and note the types of both that are used in recipes found online.

I asked for pastrami for the sandwich but they were out. I had the BLT sandwich. I appreciated the shredded lettuce and the tomatoes were great.

The service could have been a bit more efficient. The customer could be asked if the soup and/or salad sides should be served first. Both are prepared already. The customer could be eating while the sandwiches are being made.

The environment was clean, there was access to restrooms, there was plenty of seating.

We will be back. It is a shame, however, that all listed soups are gluten free. There is comfort in having wheat based pastas in soup, especially during the winter, such as Italian wedding and chicken noodle soup. And some creamed soups work best with flour based thickening.

But, we will be back for the peanut soup, a hot sandwich, and a side, which also looked lovely.

Had the “Philly” sandwich. The meat, veggies and roll was okay, but the “swiss” cheese was slimy goo, obviously processed junk. It coated my mouth, truly horrific. I finished with a peanut butter cookie, hoping to get the taste of that awful cheese out of my mouth. But, I recognized the “sand” texture of gluten free flour – yuck. I didn’t see any sign saying the cookies were gluten free, if I had, I would have skipped the cookie. My wife had an Italian panini and some African peanut soup, and her food was fine. For the same price, there are MUCH better choices within walking distance.

This food has soul. Like your momma made it at home with added love for ya. Good price too and a nice portion – good CPD ratio (calories per dollar). Got the grilled cheese with some extras and they have a million great soups. Momma G the owner is so nice too, come in there just for a smile and support your favorite family owned small business. It’s in the corner of the mall, you drive in and go to the left corner. Don’t miss it if you’re on highway 84 it’s an easy pull off to get a hearty meal on your way, easy parking too.

Excellent sandwiches. The veggies are fresh and crisp. My Mom has a gluten allergy and was pleased to find a sandwich shop with gluten free bread. The service was wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit and trying the soups.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday at 1pm. Not super busy, but ran out of soup so my husband had to change his order. Then we get home and they gave him the wrong sandwich. So to review: Not busy.. running out of soup and handing out the wrong orders. Food is okay though.

Excellent customer service. This was my 1st time coming to Momma G’s. I have been wanting to come try the soup and sandwiches for awhile and I must say delicious. I ordered the # 3 turkey sandwich loaded potatoe soup and a side of potato salad. The young man working was very polite and kind

Potato soup AMAZING! I ordered Uber and they didn’t update my delivery address so reordered and Mama added a chocolate chip cookie. Which I was going to originally order but thought nah can’t be better then mine. Well my 2nd order they added one in. I’m so glad they did because in fact it is better than mine. Order one and YOU will see it’s not what you will be expecting it’s better! 10/10 I wish I would have taken a pic but I ate it so fast!
