I visited the new Momiji inside the Amazon Nitro North building, and it’s such a great addition to South Lake Union. The space feels modern and clean, making it perfect for both a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner after work.
The miso soup was a bit on the colder side, but everything else really impressed me. The fish was incredibly fresh — surprisingly high quality for how affordable the menu is. The rolls were clean, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can definitely taste the quality, and I wasn’t expecting this level of freshness at such a reasonable price.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient, even during the lunch rush. I also learned that this location is a sister restaurant to Umi, which explains the similar style and quality of the sushi.
A nice bonus: they offer validation for the garage parking inside the Amazon Nitro building, which makes visiting so much easier in the busy SLU area.
Overall, Momiji SLU is a solid spot if you’re craving fresh, delicious sushi without spending a fortune. I’ll definitely be coming back!

reservation recommended, otherwise you’ll likely end up at the bar or patio. we tried the 007, hotter than hell, and seattle rolls, all super fresh and great. yakisoba was sooo yummmmy . the nabeyaki udon was packed with seafood (the king crab was legit), but the broth was a little bland

This place was great! The California and Spicy California rolls were a bit lackluster, but I would definitely recommend the Mr. Perfect or the Spicy Rainbow rolls if you can handle a bit of spice. For drinks, I had a Watermelon Lime drink and it was sooo good. FYI, the Bird of Paradise is good but you need ID as it has some alcohol even though it’s in the NA section.

The food was next level. Best sushi is have had in years. It is priced okay, but worth at least one visit. The server was nice, but inattentive and we had to wait a few times for more than 8-10 mins. We ordered one drink that never came. However, the support staff was excellent.

15 Aug 25. We visited for a first time veg Sushi experience with family. We enjoyed Veggie rolls, Avocado Cucumber roll and Sunset rolls. Delicious taste and first time experience of eating with chopsticks. Enjoyed the evening.

I came into Momiji last night with a very large group. Our server, Jenna, was amazing. We were coming from a very emotional Celebration of Life and she made what could have been a very sad evening, really special. She helped us order the most delicious meal for the group. The food could not have been better!! Also, the other staff helped us store the catering from the event, which was above and beyond. The service at this restaurant was kind, and really, really special. A huge thank you to Momiji for the amazing dinner!

I had a few different nigiri selections. My recommendations here would be the toro and salmon nigiri or sashimi. Both were fresh and the cuts were great. The bronzini and Black Sea bream (third and fourth white fish) in picture came with visible connective tissue which made the nigiri chewy and tough. If the cut was cleaner the experience would have been much better. I ordered the passionfruit pineapple punch and it was pretty good.

I am so happy to have a Momiji closer to Belltown. The Cap Hill location is nice but a pain to find parking, etc. I can just walk to this one which is awesome. Same delicious food, outstanding service and overall awesome ambience. Highly recommended!
