If you’re in Nashville and want to try real hot chicken, Hattie B’s is a must. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The spice level is no joke — even the medium has a real kick, but it’s the kind of heat that builds slowly and keeps you going back for another bite.

I ordered takeout and it held up really well. The fries were still crispy, and the sandwich was loaded and satisfying. The chicken itself is the star — perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and tender. You can tell why this place is so popular.

Portions are generous, prices are reasonable for the quality, and the whole experience feels very Nashville. Just make sure you choose your spice level wisely!

Definitely coming back next time I’m in town.

The chicken here is incredibly juicy but packs a serious punch. I usually pride myself on my heat tolerance, but the Habanero Damn Hot sandwich is the real deal—halfway through, I could actually feel the fumes! It’s so tasty, though, that you just can’t stop eating. Honestly, this place has ruined Chick-fil-A for me, especially since Hattie B’s offers those customizable spice levels. We definitely need more locations in Georgia!

I wonder what the ghost pepper sandwich is like lmao!!! Looking forward to that day!!!

Plenty of parking and the wait time was very reasonable.

I went there about 5 weeks ago and enjoyed it. I knew I was coming back to Nashville so it was my plan to come back.
I ordered the quarter bird with medium spice which was perfect, nice crispy, seasoned well with a slight bite of perfection.
For the sides I ordered the southern greens which were very flavorful. For the second side I ordered the red skin potato salad, it was delicious as well.
Now onto the staff all the employees were awesome and super friendly, and very helpful. They came by our table a few times to make sure everything was okay.
The restaurant was clean and tidy, they kept up with the lunch crowd like pros.
I know it’s over 2 hour drive for me but we’ll worth it.

I know this is considered “tourist chicken” but maybe there’s a reason for that because I thought it was really good.

I visited a location on the west side of town, Charlotte Pike and it was exactly what I wanted. Plentiful parking, friendly staff, wide open restaurant, and most especially, really good food.

I didn’t reinvent the wheel, fried, hot sandwich plate loaded, with delicious pimento mac and cheese. Wide open space on a beautiful day with the doors open and the sound of the day blowing through.

I would absolutely go back.

Blown away! This was such a great decision after the hubby had a medical procedure & was starving. The chicken strips just hit the spot but he was really blown away by the banana pudding saying it was probably better than my mother’s! We will definitely have Hattie B’s on our revisit list when we are back in Nashville.

Let’s talk chicken It’s Cluckin Good! Tenders are moist, juicy, succulent and the same can be said for the sandwiches which I recommend especially if your coming to try Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Mild to medium is usually enough for most. Get the hot if you wanna feel a little discomfort in the stomach. If you get the hottest version, tenders offer 0 protection and Sandwich is still gonna hurt. It will still be delicious but it also won’t matter anymore, bring a sweatband, recommend trying once with all your frenemies.

It was deliciously yummy spicy as my husband and irresistible as me haha.
Well guys, waiting was fair, a lot of people waiting for their food, I mean it’s good!
My first time here and probably not the last one. They are very coordinated, table used, table cleaned. Served by numbers. Prices are good. Not spicy or spicy option available in your food.

See ya soon, enjoy!

The staff in the management showed off their excellent customer service skills. Although extremely busy at the time of day you got served rather quick or at least in a timely manner that fit our schedule. Hot food was hot. Cold food is cold everything tasted great. Is a must stop for us anytime we are in Nashville now

This is a place you should check out for yourself. I have been three times and am not impressed. The first time I had the hot, second time mild, and just now medium. The chicken itself is pretty bland. The only flavor was cayenne, I guess. This time it was really over cooked. The chicken was still juicy but the meat was soft, not tender. The bones broke apart if you pulled on them. I think the way the fry it as a whole quarter makes it hard to get the inside done.

Came here on a work trip and it didn’t disappoint! They have varying levels of spicy. The sandwich has one side but the tenders have two sides. It was a bit heavy but tasty.
