✨ Authentic Ramen Experience Near Lübeck! ✨

Ambience & Interior

We were pleasantly surprised by this little Japanese spot near Lübeck! The atmosphere is inspired by real izakayas – high ceilings, a spacious layout, and thoughtful decor.
What stood out to us: a mix of traditional Japanese posters and retro anime touches – totally worth checking out just to see the creative interior!

Food & Flavor

Tonkotsu Ramen:
A very solid bowl! The broth was rich, the chashu slightly fattier than usual but flavorful, with lots of toppings. The egg was perfectly seasoned.
Small critique (being very picky): The noodles were too thin and a bit overcooked, which made them watery and less able to absorb the broth.

Shio Ramen:
A bit too mild for our taste, and we missed the tangy brightness that yuzu usually brings. Not bad, just not as exciting.

Karaage: ⭐ The Highlight!
Crispy, juicy, and beautifully seasoned with shoyu, shōga (ginger), and mirin. The batter was light and separated nicely from the meat – absolutely delicious!

Matcha Ice Cream:
It came in a big portion with fresh fruits like redcurrants and raspberries – a lovely presentation! But for us, it was a bit too sweet and didn’t have enough of that deep matcha flavor we were hoping for.

Tips for a Better Visit

Take a moment to admire the quirky anime and poster decor inside.
Definitely try the karaage – one of the best we’ve had in Germany!
Go for the Tonkotsu if you enjoy rich broths.
The matcha dessert is cute and generous, but a bit too sweet – depends on your taste.

Closing Note

We ended up really impressed! A cozy little spot with a lot of heart, friendly service, and some standout dishes.
If you’re anywhere near Lübeck and craving Japanese food, this is absolutely worth a visit!

Best Ramen we have eaten in Germany by far!!! After a dark and stormy day this was everything we needed. First time we visited it, even though we arrived late and the kitchen was already closed, they made an exception and still kindly served us the most delicious Tonkotsu. The food and atmosphere are absolutely exceptional here and the waiters very polite. Highly recommend when in Lübeck!

The food was delicious but nothing extraordinary but either way, we were a bit disappointed by the tiny portions of meat in our ramen.

We also felt like we were being rushed and when we didn’t order drinks, it got awkward and there was little proper customer service after.

The best ramen I’ve ever had — hands down!
I’ve tried ramen in many places across Europe and beyond, but nothing compares to the flavor and balance I experienced here. The broth was rich and deep, the noodles perfectly cooked, and every topping felt thoughtfully chosen. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I’d come back to Lübeck just to eat here again. If you love ramen — this place is a MUST.

The place looks amazing from inside and the service is really nice. Also the people are really friendly. In general the food is good, We got the szechuan Pfeffer Gyoza and after the spicy tonkotsu ramen. The Gyoza were really good, the ramen was ok. A little bit disappointed because it is not at all spicy, even I got the “spicest one” and the flavor of the Brühe or soup was not as intense as I expected.
