I cherish this place with my whole heart! I’ve brought my children here while they were growing up and I hope to bring my grandchildren someday. This place is special and holds space for every human being. Great food. Sincere service. Clean and relaxed. Go with the flow (it is Not strbx). 19 years in business and counting!
So many wishes and dreams are fulfilled here in these “Moments Under The Sun”.

Fresh baked scones every morning! This gem of Western North Carolina never disappoints! The unique flavors always linger and live rent free in my memories until I am compelled to make another visit. I always feel comfortable to take my time and relax in the cozy and aesthetically magical café. You can really tell that a tremendous amount of thoughtful attention to detail has gone into this family owned and operated coffeehouse with too many features to list in a short review. So glad I stopped by the first time what seems like almost 20 years ago. Such friendly folks, both behind the counter, in line with me, and in the cafe hanging out. Everything’s made from scratch, and there really is something for everyone. They sure don’t make them like this anymore. Inspiring to see and experience the heart that goes into the art of creating memorable shared moments, and sometimes a short moment can really turn your morning around and carry you through the day. Thank you, Moments! In my best Austrian accent, “I’ll be back!”

French Toast breakfast sandwich. ‘Nough said. (The photo doesn’t do it justice.)
This place has more seating than you might guess by seeing it from the street. It’s such a comfortable space, either by the front windows or in an adjacent space that’s away from the register and kitchen.
Our whole milk lattes were delicious, breakfast was great, and the lemon lime bar I got as a surprise for my wife was a hit.
Check out the photos. They display the myriad treats available, in addition to all the traditional cafe drinks.
Thank you to the kitchen and young guy and girl on drinks. Y’all slay. Haha. Inside joke. See ya next time!

We found this after staying at a nearby Airbnb. The staff was very welcoming and shared suggestions on what we might enjoy. We ordered a cinnamon dulce coffee – it was delicious and well balanced in flavors. We also ordered a few scones – they are the best scones we have ever had. The butterscotch flavor was our favorite. Also had a bacon egg cheese croissant and it was incredible. 10/10 and we will definitely be back when we’re in the area.

This is a cute little shop with a nice little menu. We enjoyed our lattes and our breakfast sandwiches, however, the staff is not friendly at all. The young man was not unfriendly, just not engaging. The woman carrying around her baby that works here was very rude. Completely disgusting behavior. When my friend asked for a sleeve for a hot lattes, she shot back with “ I’m impressed that it’s hot through a double wall” excuse me??
This is Swannanoa. A small town, so step off your high horse girl

I was happy to find this little cafe the other day, and stopped in for breakfast.
☕️
I enjoyed the egg and cheese breakfast croissant, but the star of the show was my scone, which was wonderfully flavorful and beautifully textured, easily the best I’ve had for a good while.
☕️
The “Spicy Del Torro Mocha” [sic] has the right idea, sort of a Mexican hot chocolate latte, but needed more oomph – the coffee, chocolate and spice notes were all too weak.
☕️
The ambiance is casual-eclectic and nicely relaxing. The service was good.

Really appreciated the unique decor of this local coffee bar, as well as the variety of options—some nice pastries and breakfast sandwiches. The hot chai we got was delicious, though served in plastic cups. The guy at the counter did his job, but was not in a smiling mood. We were there on a cool autumn day (around 50 degrees out) and were hoping for a cozy little meal where we could warm up, but we left quickly because it was very chilly inside. For two breakfast sandwiches and two chais (plus tip) we spent about $40, which we were not expecting. Between the chill of the service and the temperature this was not the most welcoming experience.

Cute little cafe with surprisingly delicious food. We tried one of their lavender scones, it tasted freshly baked and not too sweet. Also got a croissant breakfast sandwich, the scrambled eggs were fluffy, it had the right amount of cheese, and the croissant was the right amount of flakiness. Also good coffee and cute atmosphere. It was pretty busy when we visited, they seemed to have a constant stream of customers.

We tried this coffee place during our recent travel. It’s a small locally owned cozy place. Place where you enter and feel self time, budding friendships and cute love stories. We had ordered egg croissant, tomato, cheese, basil sandwich and cappuccino. Coffee was real good. Barista was kind and patient. She was listening to each of the customer patiently and was making customizations as requested. Barista was crushing the beans fresh for each cup.
Basil, tomatoes and cheese sandwich was yummy. Refreshing taste. Egg croissant was freshly baked and tasted good.
Cozy ambience. Ample parking space. Clean restrooms. Such a great place to spend a little time and relax.

This place was great. I was craving some baked goods when we were on a road trip and this hit the spot. The staff was lovely and very helpful. The barista recommended some kind of lavender tea (maybe latte?) and it was heavenly. Not to mention, the food was delicious. My partner ordered a sandwich that was massive and SO CHEAP. It was so good we kept it in the car and I ate the other half (cold) two hours later and still thought it was delicious.
My only complaint is we don’t have a cute little place like this back home.
