Cute Irish bar in an up and coming area of downtown with proper Guinness pours. Live Irish music a few times per month. We checked the calendar before we came. There was a small pub inside called The Gypsy Rover, which was cute. Outdoor patio seating. Would love to see a darker, more rustic vibe to give a more authentic Irish pub experience, but can’t wait to come back.

Hidden Gem! This place is amazing, so unexpected to find it downtown. The bartenders were so friendly, drinks were amazing (seriously the best Irish coffee I’ve ever had), the food you are able to order from the BBQ place next-door was also great. Can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in Toledo.

Toledo has had some sports bars that pretend to be “Irish Pubs.” Molly’s is the first Irish Pub Toledo has had, at least in my time.

The first thing I noticed was the furniture didn’t look like it was from Sidelines or Jeds. It was real. The barstools and tables and pews were all like The Quiet Man. I was worried when I saw two big flat screens, but the sound was off, and I sat with my back facing them, so I could enjoy the place. Trad music played on the speakers. And, best of all, I could hear conversation. I could enjoy “Whiskey in the Jar” when there was a lull in discussion, but otherwise I could hear. Not many places like that. Decorations were fun, but didn’t overdo it. Place was clean.

The pint glasses were the right kind. So many “pubs” serve Guinness in funnel shaped glasses. These were perfect.

But the best part was the Smithwicks was clean and the Guinness was the best proper pour I’ve ever had.

Also, there was only Irish beer on tap. I guess what I’m saying is Molly’s gets it. Don’t waste your time at the other “Irish Pubs.” Throwing Irish kitsch up on the walls of your sports bar isn’t Irish.

Molly’s had a donegality (atmosphere) that I hope only thickens with time. Thank you for existing.

We went here last weekend for the first time and had such a good time. Almost feels like you’re in a little pub in Galway (but in a newer building). Live music was great, the Guinness temperature and pour leave some room for improvement. That said, I drink it out of a can at home so I’m not picky!

Will be back to try the food you can order from the place nearby, the wings looked good, they were massive.

Will be back again for good vibes and a little taste of Ireland.

Sláinte!

Molly and Molly’s are the best. Doesn’t hurt that I get to catch up with my BFF (who had talked about her dream to open a pub for decades!) when I visit. The Irish Coffee? 10 of 10 stars….the BEST. Try it iced!!

No detail is missed in this fashionable warehouse style place turned Irish pub. From the welcoming feel, peat in the gypsy rover (let alone the gypsy rover!), fireplaces, stools, coasters, live trad music, sheep, branded glasses, decorations and historical photos everything is spot on! The food that can be ordered from next door even includes the quintessential peas. Molly provided true Irish hospitality including the best directions to walk back to my hotel. I wish I had another night in Toledo to go back and enjoy the craic!

Nice little Irish Pub in Toledo’s Ostriche Town. This is a really.cool spot of town, and Molly’s is a great addition. You can get a proper pint of Guinness from someone who really knows whY that means. You can get food delivered from next door at Avestruz (also phenomenal). It’s a unique pub, serving Irish beer, with great vibes. Can’t wait to be back.

The first of the month they have an Irish band that makes locals feel as if they’ve crossed the pond. Great atmosphere and a must see.
