A small family owned joint. Good food with friendly staff. Injera is so good OML! There are a lot of vegetarian options as well. Highly recommended.

While in town for graduation weekend, I was looking for a place to make reservations for dinner that would accommodate my and my partner’s vegan diets. The vegan restaurants in Syracuse don’t seem to take reservations for large groups, so I was looking at omni places instead when I found this one.
We reserved a table for dinner for 9 people, and it was an amazing experience. It’s such a cute, quaint space. It was quiet with calm, classical music, and we could hear each other talking at the table.
The vegan platter was amazing! All the different vegan options in one platter and it was all so flavorful. My partner had the coffee and I had fresh mango juice. So good!! The owners of the restaurant are so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend coming here if you’re vegan or if you have a large group.

Absolutely delicious! And the price was fair. Meat combo, veg combo. Friendly owner. Fast service. Great time!

Absolutely amazing Ethiopian food! Everything was spiced perfectly, the injera was fermented well and so fluffy and moist. Some of the best vegan/vegetarian Ethiopian food I’ve ever had and great prices.

Randomly got this place and had the best-tasting food! Though it’s a bit spicy for me, it’s excellent, can’t stop.

It was my first time trying Ethiopian food, am amazed with it’s taste and portions! Great value, but wonderful preparation, of vegetables and meats such as lamb! Highly recommended!

I’m vegetarian and I drove two hours to get into this wonderful restaurant. The food is delicious, and the staff are very accommodating. Not to mention, how fairly unexpensive the food for one very hungry vegetarian woman who made all the way here. I highly recommend this place, so if you are into trying new adventure, this place is diffently for you!!!

Unfortunately our visit did not reflect the ratings on here. There was only one guy doing everything, including cashier, waiter, and “cooking.” So service was extremely slow. As far as cooking goes, there was a lot of microwave beeping and slamming heard from the dining room. The food came out and looked terrible and was not what we were expecting. No veggies, no sides, and it honestly looked like slop on a plate. (I normally love Ethiopian food.)

We got there 20 minutes before closing time and asked the owners if they’ll still serve us or if it’s too late. They allowed us in and went out of there way to give us the best service, even after closing time. The food was incredible and was accompanied by some of the best homemade bread I’ve ever had. It’s all reasonably priced, and there are many vegan and vegetarian options. This restaurant deserves so much attention for its great food and amazing service. Will definitely come back.

As an Ethiopian myself, I can tell you this place was absolutely delicious. My only complaint was that service was slow sometimes, but it looked like there was only one man running the restaurant. He was incredibly kind and welcoming to us. Love the decor too. For 5 people, we paid ~$140 with tax and tip (which easily could’ve been ~$115 but we splurged a little)
