This appears to be the restaurant where all the locals go to and I understand why. This isn’t your standard burrito or taco place, where everything is smothered in a green or red sauce. This is more central Mexico cuisine and about as authentic as I’ve found. They did start us with chips and a very mild salsa. I had the Tropical Molcajete bowl with pineapple and a very flavorful, but light, sauce. It had both chicken and beef and the two flavors worked well together the pineapple was a fun sweet treat. It was served with a side of rice & beans, sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes. My husband had the shrimp on a bed of rice. The shrimp was correctly cooked (i.e. not overly done to rubber) with a nice light sauce. We were seated quickly, orders taken and food out in no time. Overall a very good dining experience and worth getting off the highway for a late lunch.

Total happenstance to come across this place today and so glad we did. Their staff was helpful, not only to our table, but we watched them help each other with other tables. They made a busy meal service look effortless. The food was pretty good, hot, and the portions were adequate.

I really enjoyed the Popeye’s dish along with a house Margarita! I asked for an extra salsa picosa for the chips and it was a great addition (with extra cost of course).

I’m delighted that Chadron has a REAL Mexican restaurant. Food was very good. Service was very good. The restaurant was very busy so they were having trouble keeping the floor clean. We will definitely return.

Yummy! We stopped in for dinner, quick, pleasant service. Salsa was excellent. Our food took only moments to arrive, it was hot and delicious. You should definitely try this place.

First week operation. Food was good, had to ask for tortillas to go with fajita jalisco. They were wrapped in foil and dry/tough. I had a sampler, came on two plates. Way more than i could eat.

Most delicious Mexican food I have had in a while. Salsa was very good, not too spicy. Chips could have been served warm, still good. I had the steak fajitas, asked them to add sautéed jalapeño and they did. The fajitas came with rice, beans and flour tortillas. Also came with Mexican salad, which I opted out of. Beans and rice were also very tasty. I’m glad I stopped here to eat.

Wonderful Mexican food. Great atmosphere. Our server was fantastic. This place was getting full by 1230 on Sunday which is great to see.
