This was our first time here and the food was absolutely delicious!!! We found this place via google search… Tge staff was friendly and inviting… the menu was explained very thoroughly, we had questions… I loved the variety of broth and meat options… the veggie bowl had a great assortment, the dipping sauces were tasty… I would definitely come here again!!!

I’m not a local but every time I come to visit – it’s always a hit. The marinated meat is such a good touch, elevates the flavours. Also really enjoy the spicy drops! Lunch menu is a great deal.

We got the mokkoji beef set and a side of prime rib, which came with 2 bowls of rice, 2 sets of veggies/udon noodles, and we selected a broth for each of the 3 of us.

Everything was delicious and we devoured it all! Great value for $25 per person!

Solid local Shabu Shabu! Meat was high qualityfresh, service was polite and patient, atmosphere was modern and new. Could have been a little cleaner, but I’m not mad. I suggest 5 drops of the spice if you want any spiciness in your soup (couldn’t taste it with 3). We had original broth, miso, spicy original, and spicy (sweet). All were excellent. Zero issues with food quality.

Newly opened and clean! Great food but a bit pricey. Well ventilated. We went in for lunch today and the atmosphere was casual and bright. Be careful if you have food allergies!!

PROS: clean, well lit, good meat, savory broths, variety options
CONS: price, busy dinner service

I tried their spicy miso and brisket. Upon seating, they will give you a bowl of rice drizzled in sesame oil and their house ponzu sauce. The rice is pretty tasty but try to eat it as a meal finisher. I made the mistake of eating it first due to my hunger and ended up feeling bloated. Veggies come free, which includes enoki mushrooms, pumpkin, carrot, napa cabbage, bok choi, perilla leaves, broccoli, tofu and a side of udon. They also add sweet soy sauce or ponzu and a nutty hot pot sauce (the name currently escapes me but I remember it starts with G) on the side, and you can request for radish paste, garlic paste, and chives as well. Their meat options come in different sizes and you can ask for marination, which they marinate in garlic ponzu and some chives. Highly recommend to try it with marination as it adds layers of complexity to the broth. I also recommend trying their Yuzuaide as a sweet tangy refresher.

Members of our group also ordered sukiyaki and original house broth with beef toro and pork. Their sukiyaki is sweet and enticing while their house broth is a chicken vegetable based broth, both worthy of a try. My miso soup wasn’t too spicy and added much needed warmth to a cold new years eve afternoon.

At the time of writing, broths start at $8-9, and meat can vary from $20-$40 depending on size and cut. Add-ons also cost $2-$20 depending on what you order, so you can save them until you’re sure you’d want more. There’s a service surcharge for groups of 6+.

Regarding food allergies and other medical conditions, they have good ventilation inside where my partner with asthma had little to no difficulty breathing. For food allergies, please notify your server as they offer seafood and eggs in their menu. We forgot to mention my partner’s allergies to shellfish and eggs when they brought out an egg based dip for us. Lucky the broths and seafood are prepared separately so there is no cross contamination.

I may visit more in the future and update this review with more pictures! Although the menu may be pricey, their food quality is excellent. A great place to bring friends and family for a hot meal together.

It opened not too long ago, so it’s a new restaurant. The interior was simple, bright, and clean. We thought their shabu shabu was good and so was their service. However, it took a while for our food to come out because they took down our order incorrectly.

Interesting first visit. We came here on a Thursday so it was a bit dead of a morning/lunch time. The menu was a little overwhelming when first looked at it from someone who had shabu shabu but as everyone store have different types and how their system works.
The waitress was trying to explain but i think it was still quite confusing after she explained twice still slightly. Not that friendly of a new comer transition, but after a bit of q and a between me and her, i finally begun to understand how the shabu part worked under their menu.

they have regular and combo (which you can combine 2 kind of meat, and they charge by the highest price – obviously)

their spicy pork broth was amazing, would recommend getting it again. my friend got the sukiyaki one which was slightly sweeter of a broth – but since they offer pre-marinated meat with their house sauce (that is a bit similar) it makes it slightly more confusing to have that as broth.

i enjoyed the iron steak as well as the lamb both were delicious and there was unlimited refill of vegetables.

I would definitely come back again for shabu, but slightly elevated price (as you can go to AYCE shabu for similar price) but overall experience was great.

there is shared parking with the plaza, due to ventilation they need the door open – came on a cold winter day, so having the door open did affect my comfortability consider there was nobody there that day and it was cold already with breezy wind, hoped that they can have internal vent so it isn’t at the cost of comfort, for that + the price i can’t give it a 5/5 since it did ruin a bit of the ambiance and got me distracted majority of the meal.

Love the marinated brisket w/ spicy pork broth. Comes with a big healthy portion of meat, broth, veggies and sides. Clean, fresh & excellent service.

I usually come at least once or twice a month, more so when it’s cold.

10/10
