This place is a legit Venezuelan bakery where everything tastes exactly like home. Patricia, one of the cashiers, was super friendly. Apart from the PERFECT pastries such as cachitos, bombas/berlinesas, and laminated pastries, the selection of Venezuelan goods such as cheese, tequeños and chucherias was outstanding. Definitely coming back!

If you’re in the Hallandale area and looking for an authentic neighborhood bakery, Moises Bakery is definitely worth the visit.

The first thing that stands out is the freshness of the pastries and breads. From classic Latin pastries to traditional bakery staples, everything feels freshly made and full of flavor. The display cases are always filled with a great variety, and you can tell this is a place where people come daily for their coffee and pastries.

The atmosphere is simple and welcoming — the kind of local bakery where regulars stop by every morning. Pair a pastry with a strong coffee and you have the perfect start to the day.

What I appreciate most is the consistency and authenticity. Places like this are part of the local community and keep the tradition of neighborhood bakeries alive.

✔ Fresh pastries and baked goods
✔ Great coffee to start the day
✔ Friendly local bakery atmosphere

If you enjoy traditional bakeries with authentic flavors, Moises Bakery in Hallandale is a solid stop.

Absolutely amazing experience at Moises Bakery in Hallandale! I ordered the pan de jamón de hojaldre, a milhojas with profiteroles, and some hallacas, and everything exceeded my expectations. The milhojas was hands down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly layered, fresh, and incredibly delicious. You can truly taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients; everything feels high-end and carefully made.
On top of the incredible food, the customer service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I truly recommend this bakery; it is absolutely worth it and a must-visit if you’re in the area!

The small parties are very good. My disappointment was the cake they made for a birthday. I ordered a black forest cake that cost 48.00 ! The cake had no cherries inside the cake which is the main attraction for this cake. They only placed some cherries on the top of the cake. Extremely dissapoitnting. If you charge these prices you should do a better job ! This was also not a large cake .

I visited on a rainy day, and the vibe felt relaxed and genuine. The croissant was warm and fresh, and you can tell they take baking seriously. I regretted not buying an extra one. the staff actually listened when I asked a question. it smelled amazing the moment I walked in. I’d come back the next time I’m in the area, no question.

This bakery sells the best pan de jamón in Miami, hands down. The dough is absolutely incredible soft, perfectly baked, and full of flavor, and the filling is generous and perfectly balanced. Every bite is amazing. I truly hope everyone gets the chance to try it at least once. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for authentic Venezuela pastries, add this to your list. The staff were awesome, the service was fair. I had an issue with the taste and price. For about $5 per pastry it is a bit ridiculous. In comparison, a mom and pop shop in Miami, like a grocery store, sells pastries for $1. At most, $2 for an empanada. You’ll get the authentic South American style for a fraction of the price in Hialeah.

Amazing. Fist of all, the staff is so friendly. I had been meaning to stop by this bakery and finally had the chance while shopping for Christmas dinner this year.

I got to try their Cheese, and their Chicken Empanada and let me tell you! this chicken empanada is exactly what I remember as a child in Venezuela. I’ve been looking for this specific “something” and finally found it, so thanks for the throw back guys!

The hallacas were $10, traditional Venezuelan Hallacas, and they were HUGE. The flavor was great, the ratios were on point. I also bought the pernil (pork) and it was very tasty. Def. Recommend for your Venezuelan Holiday cravings!
