I’ve been to Moe’s plenty of times over the years, and I was astonished at what happened to me at the 975 Airport RD SW, Huntsville, Alabama location. I ordered the Moe’s Monday Special, which is supposedly a bowl/burrito, chips & salsa, and a drink for a certain price. I was charged for a bowl with a discount of $1.50 and then charged extra for a drink. I asked the manager on duty if the special ever included the drink. She told me it was never like that and that it was always just a entree with the chips & salsa. Then, just to make sure I wasn’t wrong, I looked it up on Google and on the company’s main web page and saw that the special does come with a drink. What is happening here @moes.com?

Food was hot. Meat looked decently fresh. Chips were so stale you could tear them. Salsa area was clean and salsa looked and tasted fresh. So why the 3 star rating? Service. Employees were rude, short and just overall terrible. I would fire them and start from scratch. You could tell you weren’t wanted there. Whole family ordered meals but myself who ordered a bowl of queso. I asked for chips and was rudely told my chips were the 20 chips on my kids plate (okay no problem I was just going to deal, but the manner in which it was said was the rude part). As a food blogger I see a little bit of everything but very seldom do I get this rude of service. Every time the door dinged with new customers, both employees behind the counter sighed and rolled their eyes. It was just unacceptable behavior. I understand Sunday’s can be busy but we went at almost 3pm when there were only 2 tables with people at them so an added few families should be graciously accepted because without them, the business will close. I guess it’s fast food so I shouldn’t expect much but Moe’s is typically better than most in terms of service but this location was below any of the others I have visited purely because of the staff.
